- The Abandoned BMW E46 is back for the interior ! In this video we remove a good portion of the interior to reupholster the headliner and door panels and while everything is removed and left the adhesive to dry , we deep clean the interior to make is as new as possible. Also by NO MEAN I'm a professional at reupholstering and I tried to do my best, but we all have to start somewhere .

Tell me about it! I got my 2000 328ci almost 2 yrs ago and after thoroughly sorting out the engine I am ready to tackle the interior and eventually a respray. I yr engine/ cpe combo!

My fav model, i have a coupe and limousine as well. Great job and also love the upholstery replacement. E46 often have those upholstery problems due to humidity. Also nice to see the door seal looks still good. Typical problem of the coupe actually 😁

Did the sound insulation not smell and if so, did you replace it? The one behind the rear side walls between the front and rear seat belt sections on both sides of the car
It didnt smell and even if it did i couln t replace that without the owner providing me new ones 😅

I have a laser engraver/cutter and i used vinyl wrap and cut it to look like that
Got similar car, 330Ci'04, also stock, but better wheels, black interior+leather and never steering wheel makes much of a difference. Stock radio is also better looking.
Asked the owner if he wants to make the headliner and everything black , but he loves the light interior

Fatastic job however, there's no way I would use the headliner fabric on the door panels as it's not durable and stains easily.
I agree , but sadly that material was the best one to fit with the interior design , it mimics the sides of the seats and it doesnt look out of its place ! We tryed finding something more to original but didnt find anything
