Watched it on Netflix in Australia. I am not normally a crime story with violence etc but I loved the cleverness of this story.

Very charismatic actor--he was awesome in Lupin! I also saw him in another film where he was an immigrant and didn't have his papers, can't remember the title...that's where I first saw him and after that when I saw him in Lupin, I started watching more of his movies, great actor!

His mum is from Mauritius

They had immigrate in 80's, they are senegales not french and his mom is Mauritanian.

Wrong dates. He is the son of Senegalese immigrants. The french African colonies ended in the early 60’s.

@@lolabella5574 I've never seen Bridgerton, nor do I intend to even though it was a worldwide hit. I have seen the Queen's Gambit, which was far superior to Lupin, although Lupin was very entertaining.

You give her too much credit. He still would’ve been successful without her.
He made her life because she isn’t known for doing anything.
She gave him 5 children, for him she moved to the States. She gives love, their culture and the French tradition, aswel as structure. When a woman falls apart, the whole family is up side down. Look at your own mother. This woman had to give up a lot for him. Even she has a great life.
