We hope everyone had a great Independence Day! We enjoyed watching fireworks with family and eating delicious barbeque. We thought for tonight's song we'd flip the script and perform a Canadian rock band’s song for you. Our old pal, Randy Bachman, came up with this riff in a matter of minutes on stage at a show while changing a string and tuning it back up. The rest of the band joined in for an impromptu jam and Burton Cummings sang some throw away lyrics that stuck. The song became a number one hit. Hope this barn burner gets your weekend started off on the right foot. This is Colt Clark and The Quarantine Kids playing "American Woman" by The Guess Who.

Hello everyone! We're the Clark family. Colt (the dad) is a professional musician and Aubree (me, the mom behind the camera) is a photographer. Together we home school our three children. To keep busy during the shutdown we started learning and recording a new song every other day to share with our friends and family. We love playing music and spending time together as a family. Hopefully these songs brighten your day!

Go on "America's Got Talent" ... with Bellamy as the "front girl" ... they will win the hearts of the judges.

Absolutely Love you guys. I play the Drums and have a Ludwig Set. I’m married 42-yrs. 5-Children. Only one of my Children my 17 yr old played the Bass and we Rocked to 70,80’s music together. What an Awesome feeling it was we experienced together. Keep it up Clark’s ❤️🙏

Yes, you got that right, longtime fan here, having recently lost my dear old Mom( having her for only one century is not long enough) I gained a new perspective of why I enjoy the happy , content and proud glances the children give to the camera, there performing for their Mom!

I've been watching them from the beginning; when they were a charming family enterprise. But they've all grown so much as musicians, they've become a truly legit rock band. As a former musician myself, I appreciate all of the hard work that's required. Where will these talented kids be 10-20 years from now? Even if they choose a different path, they've already learned that discipline, focus, and teamwork breeds success.
I can't believe how quickly Bellamy is growing up! Hold her close, she won't be a baby very long! I love the talent, love the music, love the kids! I'm a hack on drums, keyboard, and guitar and I am so impressed and jealous with these kids. Well done mom and dad, well done kiddos! IMO, every child should be highly encouraged to learn an instrument. That song, as sung by "The Guess Who" was my favorite song as a teenager.
Someday, in the future, Bellamy will be regarded as one of the most talented American Women in HISTORY! She is, already, a GREAT Musician!

NAILED IT. Cash in particular a) nailed the fuzz tone, b) nailed the bends and c) nailed the vibrato. It takes many guitar players years to master that. I keep imagining all three kids growing up and each starting their OWN bands... and instantly tripling the number of awesome young bands out there. SMILE
Agree. So much talent in every member of this family. I love the joy they bring to playing together. You can see and feel the connection between them. Mom and Dad you have given all of them the gift of listening to and playing and connecting to so much great music. Their lives will always be richer from this, even if they pursue other gifts and or careers. May the love and joy in your futures be bountiful.
Cash made it look so easy, but who knows the intricacy of those guitar parts other than a seasoned guitar player
Agree with everything, although I see the gang sticking together forever, not so much forming their own groups. That said, perhaps the kids will do solo albums where the others back them up? - Cash could do a blues album - Beckett a tribute to his own influences - and Bellamy the same. They have a very rich grace - as a family - and when you catch fire in a bottle, you put a cork in it!

As always you bring a smile to this old man. I watched the Guess Who play this song in California while in the Navy in 1970.
As a Canadian (eh) it never ceases to amaze me that this song was SO big in the USA - it was the first song by a Canadian band to reach #1 in the US charts ... yet it's essentially a protest song against the US way of life.
But, glad you enjoy it.
This was one of my favorite songs when I was growing up......I think I was 14 when it came out ! As always, The Clark Family rocks steady ! You ALWAYS put a smile on my face and my ears are smiling too !!! Thank you all so much for sharing your talents and keeping alive the great rock'n'roll of the past !!!

This Aussie loves this and seeing the kids playing music with dad that l grew up with is beyond fantastic. I remember listening to this on my transistor radio and I still have the same feelings listening to this. Every parent says the kids grow up too quick and I am more than thankful to you all for taking me back to a more innocent time when l never realised I was growing up. Awesome.👍☮️

Total all-around performance. Cash rocking that guitar, Beckett keeping the beat, Bellamy playing a more complicated bass line than I've seen her do, and Colt's vocals just spot on. No wonder Burton Cummings was wowed!

Me too. Cranked it up, hot summer of 1969, just turned 14. Cranked open the front door and then I ran 8 houses down the street to see if I could hear it. And it was blasting. The neighbours must have loved me 😅

But most of all I love the sense of joy and fun you all have together. As I’m a musician, I tried to get my kids to learn when they were younger, tried teaching them myself, paid for drums, piano, bass, trumpet lessons but they just were not interested which broke my heart but I never wanted to push them into something they didn’t want to do and left it. Anyway recently I did a country music gig and my eldest son (now 25) sang the lead vocal on Freight Train by Alan Jackson with me on harmonies and guitar. And then my daughter (23) sang the duet Stay In Your Lane by Bronson Diamond with me. I felt so happy and am still buzzing from it weeks later. Treasure this time with your kids because it is priceless.
