I went there before and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you all to buy the special pass where you skip the waiting and ride the ride without waiting that long. Though it's expensive it's worth it. I made a mistake by not waiting it and I waited 2 hours for the Harry Potter ride :)
I had a season pass to Universal Studios Japan. Never go on the weekends(or Golden Week). Ride all the heavy time attractions (coasters/Harry Potter) at the very beginning of the day before they get crowded or after 5pm. After 5pm the crowds thin out a lot. The Skip pass is not worth the extra money unless you are going on the weekend or Golden week. Also if you can do it, try doing single rider lines as no one hardly uses them there.
I need to go Japan.
