I deliver regularly to a Chinese takeaway and one day after learning basic mandarin introduction I went back next delivery run and had a mini level up. The whole place went bananas and now can see why you love the reactions so much. Now I'm learning mandarin and brushing up my native tongue. You are inspirational.

How absolutely awesome would it be to just walk up to a stranger or a group when you know what language they speak and just give them a message with an emotionless serious matter of fact manner, and then continue on walking?
Film their reactions as you just pass them and just casually walk away like nothing ever happened.
Give message to them but act like you have no idea what the message is or where it came from and why you don't understand why you felt compelled to give them a message you don't understand.
You could have a message, for example, that is like a fortune cookie and be vague and could almost apply to anyone. Give them a vague message such as, not to worry so much about whatever they are worried about. Tell them it will be ok and it will all work out in the end.
Or how awesome it would be to pretend to be a spy relaying a message to a fellow spy but you mistakenly thought the ordinary person was your contact spy.

In the UK they changed their pattern of speech to mimmick the German Royals after all our ancestors left.
Hence the reason we all use the letter R but the brits cant even pronounce it correctly.
I mean, if you understand the language than you can probably discern it from other languages.

I'm learning Korean as well. Spent a year there and learned a few things but forgot it all when I came back to the States. I constantly relapse on my learning though lol

Props to you dude, I tried Korean, it's incredibly hard. Much more so than Mandarin or Japanese. It's a lot more hard to pronounce in my opinion. Japanese is quite elegant as a language and Chinese although quite similar to Korean in it's difficult pronunciation I found easier so far. Example: "jibdane pamuchimyeon yangshimeun garyeojineun beobiji
mwon noryeogeul pyeolchyeotgo" - Incredibly tough language!

Knowing languages is a beautiful thing, wish i had the patience, i only speak English raised in England my mother is from Ireland and my father is from India.
I know 4 languages its a little useful to know more than 2 its a little fun messing around with people right now i know english,chinese,french,filipino and a little bit of russian yup russian

The thing about Romanian is that it's super hard the grammar is very intimidating, but in the video I was confused and thought his sentences where a bit off.

You have a lot of good places to start. Your father can teach you his local Indian language and / or Hindi, other languages he knows. Your mother can teach you Irish. You can be trilingual or more easily because your parents are your bets teachers

Thank you for the videos! I've been trying and failing to learn different languages. When I get discouraged I watch one of you're videos. I am very good at reading the languages I am learning but speaking is another matter.

I love how many times the macedonian / serbian woman apologised for being prejudice against Laoshu, she genuinely meant it. What a sweet woman.
She wasn't being prejudiced though, Laoshu even agreed to that in the video. All she did was state his skin colour as a way of saying ''this guy isn't Polish/Macedonian''. She was just worried that it might have come across the wrong way, which is why she apologised so profusely. If she was actually prejudiced she would not have cared this much about potentially offending Laoshu.
