I feel pretty much the same -- things have become so much more natural socially. And yeah the gender differences are huge. In my experience the way straight cis men interact with each other when there are no women or outwardly LGBTQ people around is very different. I had no idea just how much til I experienced it. And then being around cis women who are completely clueless about LGBTQ stuff and expect you to reinforce the straight cis male role like it's the only role you've ever played.
