    Hi! I'm starting Nottingham Uni this Sep I'm so excited, I'm in catered halls and I've heard you don't find out which room you are in in halls until you get there/ who you are near, I was hoping to chat to people near my room before freshers will I not be able to do this? thanks!!! xx

      @EllaMayHoughton  Před 2 lety +1

      That's so so exciting! I think that's true, but there will be tons of opportunities for you to meet those people. Try not to worry about it until you're there ❤️

    It's ridiculous, but I have actually cut myself on a potato peeler and not a knife when peeling potatoes - I haven't used a peeler since.

    Not to be the spoiled kid but uh my accommodation is catered, do you think I might still need all this cooking equipment?

    • @tara5047
      @tara5047 Před 2 lety +5

      if you don't have access to a kitchen there's no point - have a kettle for late-night pot noodles, some plates/bowls if you get a takeaway or need to have a quick meal and a set or two of cutlery. if you have a kitchen and might do some cooking, you might want to get some of the basics (saucepans/frying pans, baking tray etc) but i wouldn't bother with getting everything as you'll want to be getting catered meals to make the most of the money you're spending on it. i'm going into my first year as well so i'm probably not the best authority, but i hope this helps!
