      Ob der in Nordhausen entwickelt wurde wage ich zu bezweifeln.

    Why did they install these engine in a Robur or W50?

    • @IvanDaskalovFarming
      @IvanDaskalovFarming  Před 6 lety

      These were not been installed in W50 - A smaller straight 4 or V6 was in , but not a V8.

    • @IvanDaskalovFarming
      @IvanDaskalovFarming  Před 9 lety

      robert simpalean I have one 516B combine , this engine is from 517 but is going to my 516. The Claas Dominator is not mine.It's own by a frind of mine who harvested for me while the 516 was with exploded engine. :)

    Is this the motor they put in the prototypen Fortchritt ZT v8?

    • @IvanDaskalovFarming
      @IvanDaskalovFarming  Před 5 lety +1

      Exactly the same. It's a very good motor, too bad we sold that harvester with the new motor from this video and the new owner put water instead of antifreeze in it and crack the heads and block in the winter.....

      Ahh okay. I'm from USA - Michigan once I found out about fortschritt I knew I had to get one back to USA somehow... Then I can do my own V8 Conversoin! :D

      Im just watching Millenial Farmers video , it's 7 in the morning in here. Gues it's not that big of a world lol :D Sound like expensive importing Fortschritt in the USA to me. They are good tracktors , the combine i had E516 was good also. It's german quallity but made under socialism so it's kinda.... diffrent , i can't explain it exactly.If you compare this engine to a mercedes one from tha same period build in western germany it's completly diuffrent sotry. This one build in east germany has the russian influence in it - it big, it's noisy, it's rough but that's what i like in it. There are some engines left for sale in eastern europe for as much as 500 to 1000 dollars. Hope you get one couse it's really mussium peace and i regret seelling it with the combine , but in the end of the day money was needed.
