yeah, the idols that have longer trainee periods (7+ years) tend to have more friends or people they know in the industry, both in their agency but also often in others, for various reasons. including that some people switch their company, an idol that trained in JYP and met bang chan there could move to another company and end up debuting there instead, but they still know each other. that's how ateez wooyoung is friends with yeonjun from txt, they both trained under bighit before wooyoung left the company.
Chan is known for the amount of friends he's got from different groups and how easily he connects with people :D
Bang chan does not only have a strong and special bond with felix but with all the members. We know this from all the 2 kids room episodes. In the one with seungmin he mentioned that he cried in front of him which he would never do in front of the other members. In the episode with changbin he said he feels like changbin is the only one that really gets him. In the episode with han he said he thinks that han knows him the best (because they have been together the longest). In the episode with hyunjin they talk about how they share a lot of interests or more how they share the passion for music and what music they like. I can't remember specific things from the episodes with lee know and i.n but i'm sure it's similar for them. So you see they all have a deep connection with each other.
He also has said Changbin is the member who understands him most, that Hyunjin is both his soulmate and driving force, that Lee Know takes a lot of pressure off him. Chan is so close with all his members, I think op just really likes chanlix 😂

Yes, a lot of idols in provate are friends and fans are making unnecessary fights and hatred between them (between fans). Bang Chan and Jungkook are really good friend, Lee Know visited Jungkook in military which shows that 2 of them are probably also friends. yes, he was born in korea. while i don't believe we have confirmation 100% that chan chose his australian citizenship, that is the general consensus in the fandom.

Hi, Ben! I've been watching your videos for a long time (ever since you got to know SKZ lol) but it's only been the second time I've commented on you.
First, if you want to know how Chan chooses his members, you can look for one of SKZ Japan's CZcams videos when he was interviewed with JYP too. Unfortunately the video doesn't have subtitles. Ps. I don't know if there are subtitles now or not because I watched it a long time ago and at that time there weren't any, but there was a YT STAY account that reuploaded it and it was translated by them (I watched it there too).
Second, as far as I know, it's not Chan who will debut in GOT7 (GOT7 at that time had several candidate members, including MonstaX Shownu, Young.K and Wonpil DAY6, and Actor Ahn Hyeonsop). But what is clear is that Chan will debut with Bambam in the same group (Next JYPE Group). JYPE has a several team trainees, such a senior team containing trainees who are ready to debut, and a kids team which is still being prepared to debut in the next group. Bambam Chan is included in team kids (there is a video of JYPE trainee showcase Bambam Chan and TWICE's Chaeyoung performing together). Then because Bambam appeared on the WIN show (JYP VS YG trainee, now all the groups that appeared on the show have debuted, namely GOT7 WINNER DAY6 and IKON), and his performance received praise from YG, so JYP made that one of the reasons Bambam was chosen to debut with GOT7. That's why this moment is also one of the hardest moments in Chan's life because Bambam is his close friend (they shared the same room when they were trainees).
Third, it's true that Chan is close to Lisa (maybe some of BP members such Rosè since they're Aussie lol). Bambam and Lisa have been friends since childhood (they are from the same country and the same dancing team), even Bambam and Lisa's parents are close. Because Lisa is Bambam's close friend, maybe Bambam introduced the two of them, and coincidentally they are all the same age so it wasn't difficult for them to become friends. Bangchan was also one of the people who listened to Lisa's song for the first time before its release (or BP as a group, I forget), whether he was invited to the release party as a friend or as a privilege as one of the KOMCA members. You can look for a fancam video of the two of them from one of the events that SKZ and Lisa attended recently, the video shows their closeness. I commented in one of your previous videos that Bambam and Chan are social butterflies, so that's why they get to know a lot of people and have a lot of friends. I say this is probably thanks to Bambam and Yugyeom, some of Chan's friends are now Bambam and Yugyeom's friends first and then were introduced to Chan, one of the reasons is because they debuted first, they were also the first members to join and form 97L (Literally The OG 97L), before finally the group added more members like Chan and Jaehyun NCT.
