Waleska saying and expressing "Ang Galing mo!" is just cute. Haha đ€
the fast rap song with the boys sharing a mic is "Upuan" by Gloc 9.
Gloc 9 was dubbed as the fastest rapper during his time.
omg waleska's 'ang galing mo' sounds so natural đ
Ur tagalog to say ang galing MO so lovely
Tulungan tayo na mag react sila sa the âUnchained Melodyâ by Morissete live @ASAP
Walseka singing in Tagalog is honestly so beautiful...then she cracked đ
Momma Herrera "I thought it was someone else singing" đ
Efra goes insane in his comments. Bwahahahaha
"Ang galing mo!" from Waleska and then Efra becoming a Prime Minister and a royalty if given the "voice" is just so cool guys. Plus the yo-yo đŻ
As a Filipino American who grew up in California. I learned so much about the musical culture of the Philippines (that Iâve never known before) through your channels. The fact that youâre both so well educated in music is so inspiring. Iâm so grateful that I found you guys.
Itâs 2:41 AM in California and I have work in 5 hours, but I canât stop watching! đ
"Yakap sa Dilim" is an original song from the APO Hiking Society.... a male trio that made it big in the 80s 90s and 2000s.
They already react to APO Hiking
ryde walang nagtatanong
@@JohnJohn-vo5mj the f are you talking. di kita kausap
Wow I never knew that was an APO song.
I saw Michael Pangilinan and Katrina Velarde there.
@14:12 Wale, the text on top means "Brother, this is just a birthday party, not a contest" :) .. which is like the poster teasing the singer not to be "too good" :)đđ
When you're more immersed to Filipino music than most actual Filipinos do. Keep 'em coming!!! đ
A SPONSOR! YAY!!! Congratulations, Wale and Efra!
The song where 2 people share a mic is actually a rap song called 'Upuan' which literally translates to chair or seat but the accurate context of how it was used for the song is actually 'Throne'. It's a song about people sitting in power who cannot see what the people below them are actually experiencing. It talks about poverty, politics and the like. The message is actually very meaningful. This is the lyrics translated to English.

you who are sitting down
why don't you try standing up
you might see, and you might see
my true predicament
its like this...
Verse 1:
Excuse me, are you inside that
huge house and backyard
surrounded by tall walls
and expensive cars in a line
guards that keep whispering and whispering
nobody's getting married but a lot of people are in barongs (suits)
the roof wont be damaged even if the rain pours hard
plates and spoons that don't know what left-over rice is
and rice as white as a box of milk
and even if it's not christmas there is ham on the table
it probably feels great to live in a house like that
they also say that this is where you can find
the person who owns a seat
when there is an opportunity it is fought over
that's why that person never lets go of it
if i see him i will shout
Chorus
you who are sitting down
why don't you try standing up
you might see, and you might see
my true predicament
Verse 2
Excuse me
to the person who is sitting down
did you know our cup of rice is not full?
the walls of our house are made of cheap roof material
at night it is so hot you could melt ice
that we cant afford to buy for our drinks
boiled water in an old, dirty teapot
using driftwood from the creek
that serves as our kitchen, in the morning, it's our bathroom
my mother's treasure is a soup pan
which is used only when my dad gets his pay
but its still insufficient
dried herring and salt with rice
one dollar has to be fit for a day
i don't know if there are just a lot of barriers
or if the walls are too high
or if you're just pretending to be blind
even with all your money
no doctor can open your eyes
so...
don't be so obvious
stones in the sky
if you are hit don't be mad
stones in the sky
the one who is hit
don't be so obvious
don't be so obvious

UP. They should see this đ€Ł
Up

Esang's vocal tone. That's such a beautiful cover of that beautiful song.
Khel's never disappoint... His voice is just heavenly.
I will pray for a miracle so Efra can have a smooth velvety voice Like Khel so Efra can rule the world. It will be a wonderful funny world. Efra cracks me up.
Waleskaâs less confident with her Tagalog than Efra but seeing her sing Tagalog with that app theyâre endorsing she sounds greatâŠ. Sheâs clearly getting a better feel towards the OPM ballads.
Love the hairstyle Wale.. and Efra's reaction as always.
I love to see you both singing in a mall or karaoke bars here in the Philippines. I know that you are both professional singers but I love to see it just for fun. I love you guys!!! I assure you that Philippines is a safe place to travel/stay.
Katrina did all those belt, riffs and runs in just one breath. incredible woman!
You're such a blessing for sharing the UNICONVERTER 14. Been searching for such since I don't know how long.
*Sigh of relief*

Guys the climax of every Birthdays in the Philippines is not the food, it's the karaoke machine if the celebrant has only foods on the table more or less no one will come. Everyone invited should prepare at least one piece to sing that is why everyone should come prepared, the higher the song the best because pinoys are hard to please as audience it needs to be impressive , or else u will be crucified.
Wow wale i love your singing DADALHIN can we have a full version of it pls....đ
Cute baby so talented â€ïž

Wow Waleska... I love your voice.. Your pronunciation is amazing
Re your comment about the mom singing while cooking, i grew up in that kind of household. My mother just sang all the time while listening to Filipino and American classics. Unfortunately, I didn't inherit her singing voice so i'm just content with singing inside the car.
I love your reactions to Filipino music and artists. How I wish you can visit the Philippines soon. Take care!
so proud of u guys..galing nyu na mag TAGALOG..clap clap clap
My night isn't complete without watching you two.. Good night Awesome Sibs.. âșïž
Ang galing!~
I really like it when Efra speaks Tagalog. You guys always make me smile with your videos đ
I'm regretful that the songs of Apo aren't on video much. They have such beautiful songs. That one is 'Yakap Sa Dilim' (Embracing in The Dark). There's also Kumot at Unan (I saw a video of this on YT), Tuyo Nang Damdamin, etc.
Regretful? Miss, regret means pagsisisi.
@@Somm_RJ Sir, regretful also means nanghihinayang. Nanghihinayang ako na maraming kanta ng apo ay hindi nakunan ng video. Before you correct someone, you should also check your English and Tagalog dictionary. Better yet, Google it.
@@aleanahsacar4214 inaccurate, there's no direct translation for nanghihinayang in English. The same as it's root word sayang, there's no equivalent word in English. Translation depends on the context of the sentence.
Nanghihinayang is something of a missed oppurtunity or something you wanted to have but you couldn't have. Something out of your control.
Regret is something you could've done but you never did.
So instead of regret, you could use words like:
It's a shame that...
It's unfortunate that...
9:20 - UPUAN by Gloc 9 ft Jeazell Grutas
Loved that âAng galing mo!â đđđ
Thank so much for appreciating filipinos
Still recommending Panalangin by Apo Hiking Society since you guys have already touched OPM jazz.đ
the katrina velarde video is more impressive than weâll ever thought because she did those high notes effortlessly and with just one freakin breath! đ
Waleska â speaking in Tagalog ( eg reading the message) so cute ..
Itâs good to hear he tried to embrace the cultural aspect .

Pilipino music is very good vocal practice because it made of runs and belting when we sings English music is easy for most of us to sing.
I love how their face gets progressively more horrified and at the same time amazed at that one pointđ
I love both of your reactions and imaginations. â€â€â€
That lady belting Akin ka n lang is Katrina few years backđ
The 4th one is "UPUAN"...that's a good version and trending in Facebook mga parekoy'z...love you guyz.đâ„ïžđđ
As always, Efra being hilarious again and again
12:10 the woman complained it is so high, but she nailed it.
She is KATRINA VELARDE, of course, and she did not pause/breathe for almost 25 seconds....AMAZING! EXCEPTIONAL!
@@mbettemarzan9634 oh she's Katrina? I didn't recognize her without a makeup
They don't care about anatomy of where the voice come from. Just sing! Just sing! Yeah

The stuff youâre imagining about Regine, I got to experience many years ago. I was at a mall, chilling with my dad and I heard this beautiful singing. And there she is on the escalator just singing randomly hahaha. Guess she likes singing out of the blue! đ€Ł
