Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of Alfa Romeo Tonale 2022

- Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, 50% of the width of the car is striking an oncoming deformable barrier, also travelling at 50 km/h
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid full width barrier
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled as well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

I'm surprised it doesn't have a centre airbag. Love the fact it has an old Italian car horn for the AEB warning, that would definitely jar you to attention! Not so good if it gives false alerts though and you end up having a heart attack through shock 😂

@@lucasworktv a self respecting successful brand with a prestigious past (like the germans, for instance?) would never launch a model available as a clone for an American budget tacky brand. An audience and customer base accustomed to the best would never find anything normal or celebratory about this Tonale-Hornet tragedy, and nothing to justify

Definitely. We don't want the kids to risk any injury in case an accident happens, do we? Safety first and foremost. Make sure the wife's seen the test :)

00:19 . We only buy cars in which the side airbags in the windows also deploy in a frontal collision. The car may roll over in an accident and the side airbags will not deploy later. A clean frontal collision does not always happen.
The airbags are only inflated for a very short time. The Airbags are deployed when they're needed.

Questa auto mi fa abbastanza schifo! Una brutta copia della Stelvio che non ha motivo di esistere, sia a livello di mercato che di gamma
è l'auto che il popolo chiede, non tutti possono permettersi Stelvio e giulia e oltretutto fa concorrenza alle rivali tedesche
