Yeah, they were so happy with each other that Simon bolted right after this......I saw the Mish in 1987 in Orange County and met Wayne and Craig in the venue during soundcheck. That was the night that Craig melted down and flew back to England leaving the Mish to use their tech to finish the tour on bass......these guys were hard drinking and emotionally volatile.....Surprised they put it all back together with original members back some years ago and actually put out a few stellar albums, too. My fave band of all time but I still think the first three albums were the foundation that sealed their legendary status...GOM, Children and Carved in Sand.....brilliant with a couple of exceptions. Amelia is truly not a good song. The meaning is powerful but the music grates on one's nerves......The beginning of Bridges Burning with Wayne making some ridiculous shrieks and howls is so unnecessary and one part of GOM that was cringeworthy, but for the most part epic stuff.....
The meaning of Amelia is too much for me. I don’t need a song that’s about such an awful and dark reality. Agree with the screeches and howls, but in practice, the Mish has always been better live than recorded which says everything in my view and so many key songs off GOM and Children that were absolutely foundational for shaping me as a teenager that the band’s music will always mean a ton to me.
quite funny wayne and his hands graig trying to focus with waynes hands flying around thats funny yes but annoying thats the funny thing about being in a band i can get annoying LOL i always wonder why simon left the mission it was never the same after he left and i gave up listnening to them still wayne has a great voice for solo performances thanks for the upload
I think all the guys were a little bit drunk.But once again Wayne made me laugh.Does anyone know where Mick is?I really had a crash on him and I wish I could see him once again.
what would you say if we send a bottle of red wine to the guys?How many hics will they make?I know a person who makes a very strong and sweet red wine and if you drink a small class of wine you get drunk,HIC.
