We need SHINOBI, more Streets of Rage characters, Golden Axe, E-Swat, and more Altered Beast creatures. Oh and some Jet Set Radio/ Future figures as well.
Of course, Shinobu. Gr8 choice. I would LOVE to see a build-a-figure in this line of something off-the-wall, like an Outrun Ferrari or the Daytona stock car in all its boxy glory. Better yet, any of the rally shooter ships from HerzogZwei and of course THUNDER FORCE!!! or the eyeball boss on the cover of Truxton could be a super fun, deep cut design that might interest total newbs. I would hope that in some small way that this line will generate some interest in these OLD school games and their lore for younger kids. At $10, this line could really be a shot in the arm to Sega's nonexistent connection to the youngans. Saaaaaay-Gaaa

It's good to see that Jakks-Pacific is giving some of Sega's more obscure franchises their own figures. I'm hoping to see ones based on Golden Axe, ToeJam and Earl, Ristar the Shooting Star, Vectorman, Bug!, Wild Woody, and other obscure Sega franchises in future waves.
The price is great and refreshing to see in stores. However, the Altered Beast figure I bought had very stiff shoulder joints. I used heat, shock oil, and some pressure, but nothing would budge them. Eventually the peg broke at the bicep on one side, so I just went out and got another. Thankfully this one isn't as stiff, but be aware that your mileage may vary. As for future Sega game characters, I'm in for any and every. I had been wanting some figures from Streets of Rage and Altered Beast myself, so this is a welcome sight. I would love to see more from those two games as well as ones like Golden Axe, Space Harrier, Alien Storm, Gunstar Heroes, Shinobi, and Phantasy Star.
Thank you!! I been saying that for the longest time that they should of made figures for the OG Killer Instinct. The original cast of characters would of been perfect for a toy line. It still baffles me that they didn't get a toy line back in the day like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. I mean sure their first toy line wasn't the greatest since it was based off the GI Joe models. But, they've evolved with different toy companies and are still making toys until this day. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed.

I’m reminded of Bandai’s Dragonball Evolve line of super articulated 5-inch figures. Also 10 bucks but they’re missing a lot of paint, whereas these guys look way better.
For me it would be Julies Thunderhead from Golden Ax, Adam from Streets of Rage, Opa Opa from Fantasy Zone, it could be Zombie and Zobiko from House of the Dead EX, the Bonanza Bros, NiGHTS among others.
Streets Of Rage should have had it's own series with Axel, Adam, Blaze, and Mr. X in series 1 and in series 2 Max, Skate/Sammy, and all of the game's boss villains, and part 3 & 4 the main heroes and boss villains single carded figures, the mid boss 2 packs, and the henchmen army builder pack with all of them coming with weapons.
Have not picked up Ai Ai yet since I was more interested in the genesis characters. But it does look like a fun novelty item rolling it around. Gillius Thunderhead (golden axe), Vectorman and Shinobi would be my choices for another wave. I think those are likely. Would be wild to see Bonanza Brothers, or Crazy Taxi vehicle sets, that all the Sega stars can ride in.

My grail would be some of those classic Phantasy Star games, as well as Vector Man. (Not sure how they would even pull vectorman off, considering he's a series of floating balls. Clear pieces I suppose?)
I like that there are figures of these IP's being made (well....at least 2 out of 3 IP's) but I wish they had been made in either 3.75 inch or full 6 inch scale. The werewolf already offers a few repainting options, with the final golden werewolf and P2 colors, but even so, I'm wondering if there'll be any enemies or bosses made for the toyline. Would an Aggar figure actually have head launching action?
Definitely will pick up the Altered Beast if I see it. If I remember correctly it sounded more like wise frum yur grauve. HA definitely want the blue wolf too.

So many people love Alterned Beast but I never understood why it was so popular. I thought it was okay. These figures look better than the promo pics. Axel could use a better face for sure. Wait the controller prong issue for the Genesis was widespread??? I was pretty young when I had mine and the Internet wasn't really a thing. Didn't know anyone else that had one so i just always assumed it was an issue with mine haha.

I prefer that scale of Streets of Rage, too bad the other companies prefer a bigger scale, but this lower scale allow a bigger characters with a more range of scale difference.

People were rough on these things early on and I really think it was just a punching down kinda thing (yuck. Hate that word/concept haha...punch whatever ya want, there is just consequences!). I think some just flip out over smaller sized figures in general and if something is an actual toy or at a cheap price, a lot of folks just cannot look past that. Conversely, I think some give cheaper toys way too much latitude too, so were all wankers, riiiight? •my T-Shiz impersonation!• I hope these flourish and I hope they somehow inspire youngans to dive into these games; if their parents are cool w/ gaming of course. Already, they seem better than those TMNT movie figs and they hold their own against SuperPowers. Go Jake's! I'll hang w/ ya a while.
I really wish you toy reviewers would stop saying "bicep rotation". The biceps is a muscle in the upper arm, as is the triceps and biceps brachii. Why is it so difficult to say upper arm rotation? You all say thigh rotation. Shouldn't that be quadriceps rotation?
I got that alters beast werewolf weeks ago it’s honestly a good figure for the price I just hate his fist 🤜 I know he pounds his enemies down in the game but when I think of werewolf’s I need some narly claws … just my 2 cents 🫡🫡🫡

I got Axel the other day and really like him. My only gripes...no waist swivel. and its a unique scale....too big for 3.75 and too small for 6 inch...
