I had three smaller roller boxes in my shop. Drove me nuts! I ended up buying a 72" from Home Depot for $1200 and sold the three cabinets. Nice big box!
I have the same but the butcher block material on top was warping so i swapped it for the white 1 inch hdpe cutting board material cut to the same size. It will never warp again and its extremely tough and very easy to do.
Raining like crazy here in Baja today, binging on you vids today. Thanks for your hard work and sharing your experiences with us.
Awesome! Thank you!
Makes we want to organize my tools
You can’t beat having your own shop at home awesome👍👍
You got that right!
One recommendation I could say to a new mechanic is to not buy a big general mechanics tool set with all the standard wrenches and sockets and piece your set together with sizes you're most likely to use then you can buy the bigger sizes that you need individually without buying the sizes in a set you'll never use. And of course you narrow it down even more for trail tools.
Finally a XR650R sighting! Always cool to see how others set up their shop to see how you can improve on your own. Now go ride your XR!! 🤘🏻
It’s getting pressed into service soon. I’m pre running the baja 1000 on it this November
@@highlandcycles RIGHT ON 🤘🏻 that’s awesome!! Can’t wait to see those videos. I traveled to So Cal from NW MT to get my 650 from a dude that raced it in the 1000 and pre ran it another time. Thanks for your videos and all you do for the dirt biking community 🤘🏻
Not a 'tool' , but useful - a section of plastic guttering to hold fork internals in order , and easy to wipe clean.
For sure. I’m getting a stainless tray build for that.
I really learn a lot from your videos 🤘🏻
Want to see the base you’re going to make for the tire change thing I have one 😂 !!! Nice set up Morgan 🙋♂️🤝 excellent content as always cheers from Texas
Coming soon!
Great Video! I thoroughly enjoy seeing how other folks have their home shops setup. I’m always looking for ways to improve/streamline my setup. Big congratulations on the RMATVMC sponsor, you’ve definitely earned it. All the best Morgan 🍻
Thanks for watching!
Very practical video. Good to see shop setup from someone who spends a lot of time in one professionally because the way you set up yours (likely without even thinking about it) is very practical. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
❤
Sweet home shop! You deserve it Bro!
Thanks again
Good video Morgan always likes seeing what kind of tools people buy for their home shop.
Great video!
Thanks!
That is what I am looking forward to...which is the bench set up. The surface is so important and I would love some ideas regarding the benchtop.
Coming soon!
Hard work does pay off
Amen
🤘
#90👍we've been waiting for this! Yes!
Colorado gets cold, how about some shop insulation so the kids don’t freeze in the winter?!? 🥶🥶 brrrrrr 😂
Did you watch the whole thing??
🤘🤘
And if anyone needs a Barn or shop. I know a guy!
Yessir
Dirt bikes, mountain bikes, trucks, guns; what is not to like? I wanna see how it turns out and hear about how the tools worked. I am starting a build soon on a cargo trailer that will be my dirt bike hauler/ mobile shop/ camper thingy. I will be stocking it with many of the same tools, so any reviews on this equipment will be helpful. Love the channel, Morgan.
Awesome
Man did they hook you up:) looking forward to the shop build
Great video, I have everything you do except the tusk bearing puller. Guess that's next. Also a galvanized piece of sheet metal over the wooded bench is nice and easy to clean off. Looks like you just need an air compressor and lift and you're set. BTW, love the KDX
I’m getting a harbor freight lift with a bottle jack. I have the pneumatic ones in the big shop
Interesting that they no longer have the 48mm fork seal driver, I have one that I bought from RM years ago.
I know man. Super weird. I looked and looked and then so did my guy. 🤷🏼♂️
Looks great man, home shops are awesome!! 🤘🏻
They are!
there are definitely differences between impact drives. not only in durability, but function as well. not sure where that one ends up but the snap on ones work WAY better than cheap (think harbor freight) ones.
For sure
Foam is too expensive. Bats between the studs, slap some drywall up, roof use batting, steel the ceiling.
I have a tusk 48mm fork seal driver. They definitely sell them.
Not anymore or they aren’t in stock. My RM guy hunted.
👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏼
What’s the back story on the old dodge truck? Looks like a fun project.
That is my kid's truck. It is a 74 W100 4x4. My father in law bought it in 76 and sold it to him this year. We need to put brakes on it now but other than that it is his daily driver.
Awesome video! I am curious to know if you are planning to put a wheel yruing stand in your home shop.
No. If I need to do that I’ll bring it to the shop
I just had my second send back they messed up my order for my 120 -100-18 and unfortunately I got a kenda 100-80-21 .so I'm a little upset but I work nights an they are trying to fix it it's only like the second time ever I have had to send back so I'm actually impressed with the service I'm more upset at my attitude toward the service people but I was having to stay awake to deal with that situation but they are pretty awesome for dirtbike stuff an it's harder when you work 12 hours a night.
An the tire I was so post to get was a golden tire 120-100-18 an I got that kinda 100 -80-21 a front tire.
That’s odd for sure. Everyone makes mistakes
Heated/insulated?
Not yet
Great setup Morgan. I’ve been happy with all my tusk tools except their chain breaker (it really does suck) the only thing that I see missing is a vice, and maybe a urethane coating on the wood of the workbench before it gets soaked with oil. One question for you. What will you use for a bike lift at home? Will it be the Tusk scissor lift or will you do a full length lift stand like you have at the shop? I’ve got the scissor lift in my shop, but curious what you think is best?
I am going to be bringing the tusk scissor lift home but also I’m going to get a harbor freight table lift.
How large is your shop. Looks like you have plenty of room. Envious!
40’ x 60’
What are the dimensions of your shop? Great videos!
