Years ago I had purchased the 1947-87 CHEVY/GMC TRUCK H4 HEADLIGHT RELAY HARNESS - 2 HEADLIGHT SYSTEM similar to EHLWH02 from Brothers Trucks for my '68 C10. That kit had made a huge difference in light output. Now that I've seen the LED upgrade I feel that my lights will be even brighter. Thanks to your video I'll have to pick up a set of those LED headlights.
These videos are so great. I’ve recommended Brothers to everyone who’s ever asked me about anything c10 related. You guys are the best
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thanks David, for this tutorial on headlights, great information!
Beautiful.
Folks, these video's are the best!!!
Thanks for watching!
Another great video!
Thanks for all the information.
You know we're here to please!
Very informative. Thank you for your time.
Our pleasure!
I installed these on one of my trucks the other day. I put the classic white (3000k). I will be ordering a set for my other two trucks.
Excellent! We were 100% satisfied with the addition of these to our two trucks and ordered a few more sets for some other classics we have around the shop.
Sweet, I am going to have to purchase some for my 70 GMC and my 75 c10.
Right on
I need those for my 83 single headlight front end. Are those available too? I bought this 83 5 years ago and drove it 90 miles home. It still had the old style conventional headlights. What a ride after dark! I felt like 2 flashlights were attached to the bumper lol. Great upgrade
Yes, those are available too! Link in the video description!
Nice job thanks
Thank you too!
I trust these guys and I need something for my 86 past what stock gives us. I'm going to do this,. It's plug and play as well. And he showed us the old vs new look. Hey charge me in Canadian dollars ?! I get dinged on exchange boys !
@brotherstruckparts Are the headlight housing made of glass or plastic? It would be great if glass. Yeas heavier but won’t yellow
Glass!
Would love to have an hood ornament just like that gmc on my 78 jimmy
They are available. I have a new one on my 83 Chevy and I know they were on some 70s models
These look like the Holley lights but are a bit cheaper. Nice!
BTTF! Woah that’s heavy!
Dave is full of random cult culture references.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV that was a good one!
The headlight links do not work. Great video as usual. Ahmad
Sorry, our website just changed and we are trying to repair all the links now.
I take it that with the low amp draw of LEDs it's not necessary to wire via a relay as in H4 conversions?
Great video! Subscribed!! Thank you for all the great tips along the way as well as thoroughly explaining the product. I am planning to order these soon. Are there LED replacements for ALL of the lights on the vehicle?
That depends on what vehicle we're talking about?
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Thank you for the reply. Makes sense... This would be for a 1966 C-10
@@kirkmanjames Yessir, we have all the LED lights for that truck, stepside or fleetside we've got it covered.
Can you post a link to these headlights? Hard to find stuff now that the website has changed.
Thank you!!!
Direct links to all of the different options are in the video description and will take you right to what you want.
Are the 4x6 rectangle still available?
It's great to see these, but I don't think you've yet got a set for a quad light GMC. 64 for example. Meaning, separate low beam and high beam bulbs. Holy smokes, that would come out to be over 800 bucks in lights but it would be nice to know I have another option beyond Silver stars that pull more juice.
The quad light trucks would use the same bulbs except your wiring harness would direct the power to each bulb differently as it does with the factory intermediate light harness. So basically two bulbs would always be low beams, and two would always be high beams, but none would ever be both.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV but the beam pattern is different for a halogen/incandescent high beam vs. low beam unit. The reflectors are different.
@@erikbasil2787 we've got a '62 here at the shop, we'll test it and see what happens then get back to you. Our understanding right now is that the LED high beam would be illuminated via the wiring connector in your stock harness and the opposite for the low beam. Give us some time to sort it out for ourselves.
👍👍👍
Do you have same type set up for other lights? Tails/Parking??
Yessir, check all our LED offerings at www.brotherstrucks.com
Ive got the quad lights. is the price listed for 1,2 or 4? Trying to figure out if I need to order multiple or if one order covers everything.
They are listed as each. So for quads you would order 4.
Is there rectangular versions for an '86 with quad lights? Is there the high and low beams ?
Yes and Yes. Check the link in the video description!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV I asked before I looked and found them.
Thanks for the reply.
I didn’t see any listed for an ‘85
The link to all out Classic Look LED's are in the video description, including the rectangle style for your '85
Any videos on trucks with 4 headlight LED conversion? Such as a 1968 GMC?
Not at the moment.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Thank you.
This is a question not about headlights, but dash panel lights come out ordered some LED dash panel bulbs for my 1972 model Chevy truck I put them in none of them work, what do I have to do to make them work?
take them out and turn all the ones that aren't working 180° around and re install them. LED's will not light if they are out of phase. We detail that in our install video of those dash LED's on our website.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Thank you how can I get that detail diagram, because I ordered the lights through brothers
@@randybox4202 Here's a link to the video we mentioned: czcams.com/video/dNyBH6maJkg/video.html
Are the glass lenses?
Yes
“A pickle in your pancakes.” Now I want lunch.
LOL
Quad lights?
Yes, link in video description.
Will they fit my 55 chevy pick up
Yes, absolutely!
Are these headlights offered for 87 Chevy Scottsdale
If you have the round headlights then they should
Yes sir, check the link in the video description.
sorry but the "last a lot longer" idea sounds good, but ive yet to find any LED light thats lasted longer then any standard bulb. I have 2 year old LED lights that have went bad, right next to standard bulbs that have worked for well over 4 years. Odds are ill be buying led headlights for my 55, because the standard bulbs just dont put out as much light, i just dont expect them to last any longer.
Don't buy EBay junk.
@@asherdie lol
There are really cheap LED's out there and yep, they won't last long. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
Dave…..I don’t like Pickles.
LOL
Brothers want way to much money...
