That plane is so beautiful. I think it's the best looking Airbus. Great content!
Wow! This was captivating! You were granted some serious access! Nice!
Great pushback vid. Amazing.
Tak for this! my favorite plane ever!
Never seen that up close and detail! Thank you for all the hard work for such a beautiful video.
Fascinating video. A totally different perspective of aviation. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing footage! Well done
That's a pretty unique video! Thanks for sharing.
WOW, so awesome Dan. I love it. What a view from the Pushback Tractor. I love how the tractor grabs the nose wheel and raises it off the ground to move the plane. They don't need a tow bar anymore. Your videos are just awesome!!!!! :)
Thankyou very much. I also did enjoy it very much. Its almost imposible to gain that much close view of any aircraft.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Superb video Dan. I have always wanted to see how an aircraft is being pushed back for a very long time. I could watch it through your video at close quarters. Just imagine just a single hand does the whole operations Once again superb video May God bless you
That was awesome. Great video👍👍
This is really Beautiful!
Great insight. Thanks!

Nice and cool Dan
That was insane!
Best aircraft ever built I love it
wow your channel is amazing so i subscribed
Wait a minute, did I see that right? The tow truck actually LIFTS the front of the plane? I had no idea!
Yes, this is correct.
I wonder if the passengers even noticed
a few trucks lift a few use the rod... wonder of hydraulics. :)
IKR? I've watched it three times now and still can't quite believe it!
That's what I was wondering
Great skill of the ground crew. Must appreciate!!!

THE BEAST

Davin Crawford Haha are u kidding!!!! Stick to flying ya simulator u stooge
Fuck you too
Now Davin.....
Let's switch to De-Caf.
YEA THIS IS MY FAVORIT PLANE
LOL
I agree 💯. Bring back the a340
Thanks for posting! I had no idea the truck picks up the front wheel and pushes the aircraft away from the gate. I thought that all aircraft were pushed back by a post that's attached to the aircraft's front wheel stem and all wheels are rotating backwards when being pushed. Cheers and greetings from SFO!
Heading to Munich in October! Taking a 767 Delta, got a window seat aswell. Taking an airbus A330 back
I am leaving from BOS in a little less than 2 weeks
Very good.
Better than any amusement park ride. Very cool.
Wow. I wish I could experience this.
i wish someday i got a job like that pushbacking,, adventurous
IS AMAZING VERYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD
Nice
The super tug!!
Awesome and rare view! How do you get such an jealous opportunity?
That would be a awesome job.
You pushed it out at such a sharp angle and put it right on the line. Well done. I usually try to go for a more smooth curve with such large planes so i don't get an over torque. This was awesome to watch. If I may ask, how heavy was the load on the lifter?
nice👍🏻✈️
An excellent video, and first time recording this operation for you. I might want to suggest a different nomenclature for the description of the vehicle. In a manufacturing plant setting a service vehicle would be referred to as a mule, or a tractor. In the automotive roadside service industry, the vehicle would be referred to as Wrecker, or a Tow Truck. In the Maritime service assistant, the vehicle vessel would be referred to as a tug. In the airport service push back, or being used in a towing situation, the vehicle is known as a tug.
How high above the ground are those front tires lifted by that pushback truck?
Great to see real world pushback. A little description as to the procedure would have been even better.
this is the first time I watched a plane get moved with this truck (not from the plane), great video! Did I by chance see right, did this truck lift up the steering tires?
yes
What a lucky man
This is some excellent footage! How'd you get this opportunity?
How the hell did you achieve that!
Awesome Video. How Did You Get This Video?
Whats the loud noise that the aircraft makes cause I always uses to think it was the engines on idle
best plane ever
It's amazing how the pushback truck not only has the power to push back such a heavy aircraft, but also actually lift it up by the nose gear!
emercycrite a 6 year old can lift a car with a hydraulic jack. No different here.
With all that pressure at the base of landing gear it's amazing it doesn't snap.
Not really cause once you get the plane rolling it's not hard to move. Also the landing gear is extremely strong. I saw what causes the landing gear to raise and lower on a 767 and shit is huge. Doesn't look like much till you get up close to the landing gear.
those cable that was attached to the planes front landing gear, what was that for? That leak at 7:00, hope that was a normal leak for the plane......
A340-600 Lufthansa... The best flight in 12 hours >>> Guarulhos (Brazil) for Munich (Germany)
Best part of being a rampy. I enjoy pushing back planes more than aything.
What kind of engine and transmission do those tugs use to push back big planes
16.000 v8 around 570hp ... 21 tons weight the tow truck,and very low gears
Holy Hell - how much weight is on that wheel when its raised up by the tug?!! Amazing
not too much. planes are very well balanced. if you unload a 747 in the front first, it will tip over. happened a few times in aviation history. not just in the 747.

The Jetway Sound Is Making My Ears Hurt 😂
Hey Dan! Amazing video!! I was wondering what's the accessory you use as an external microphone for your iphone to record videos?? Thanks!
+CodingTuts I use the Røde VideoMic Me - but for this I used my big camera!
Dantorp Aviation Oh Awesome! Thanks for the information!!
what is that cable for? the red thingy the guy just unplugged from the front gear?
its a communication link. Allows the tug driver can talk with the pilot.
What cammera do you use ?
we enjoy. that
does the front gear move?
I regret that I may not get a chance to fly on this beauty as there are so few in service now.
Dan, when do you think to travel to Poland? I recommend it a lot, also make a LOT review! :) LIKE
Just a question. Do you play Infinite Flight? The whole community loves you! Looking forward to the flightcast episode you were on!
at the very beginning, that orange cable that was attached to the planes front landing gear, what was that for? 7:00 worried me for a second when I saw that liquid coming from the bottom of the plane and onto the tarmack....
