This is why I won't play this server. Giving cheaters 2nd chances when they have been destroying the game for so long is way to much for me. If you no they are cheaters they should be gone ....period. possibly why other community servers are 100 pop with a q. Aggressive cheater banning is what the legit rust community wants. Being passive is probs not the way to deal with them.
We’re cracking down on cheaters. Most of the players when told to stop cheating leave the server. You can always report the player of you believe they cheat and we’ll investigate it

No I don’t think 2nd chances are a good thing to do regardless if they honest. They just know to be more careful also do better ban appeals ask for video prof video call with your camera off if there against it ban them, get a hand cam there setup etc. get them to play 20 min of a pvp server to see if they have the same gameplay.

It's the one I know, just go to the base and look at a part of the building and poof. To destroy left over loot bags, look at them and Type Ent Kill

Dealing with a cheater right now we have had him send in clips and we have spectated him for several hours. He says he's not but when we watch the clips that he sent and the ones while we spectate and super hard to tell he said he's using a molded controller from turtle Beach??? But can't find out any info on that! Lil help maybe please ?

Im about to quit because the game is 80% cheaters, prove me wrong. Even on community servers that claim to ban cheaters.
Its pathetic.
Shooting is the hardest thing on rust, and these same cheaters will tell you your aim sucks and to just get good. I hate it.

I’m sorry, but if they are found to be cheating they should get banned from your server regardless if they confess to cheating. These scumbags don’t deserve a second chance.

You shouldn’t ban them from the player menu you should do it from the commands and do BanID “player name” because when you ban them from the players menu their names don’t pop up under the banned players list

i Wish they could make it so if the console detects any usb connection, it will automatically lag or make playing the game shit or just impossible to do, sucks that they cant really do this
and i dont think it would be a big hinderence without any usb connections such as a keyboard to make typing easier
I’ll be honest xim/zen is carrying the game and this is coming from me (an 8.2k hour legit) I played a legit only server and it was way too easy then I hopped on anarchy lt or glissins hood and it was actually a challenge it’s tragic but these ppl can’t play legit any more and won’t put in more time to get better again and most of the community are cheating now so they would loose a lot of their player base
What about the Ak 4x users they zen or xim cause there are a few on my server
You can be good with a 4x ak i'd just watch for the holo or their movement

If you’re cheating playing on a server that’s for legit players then it’s somewhat of a deal.

yes but you have to know the exact name caps and all do banID in command lists

What percentage of console players do you think are cheating? I don’t mind losing a fight but when 60% of fights end up with me dying instantly without them missing a bullet it’s annoying AF.
Facts let me add they are like a mile away with an m2 and do not miss, xim and zen si not hard to spot at all the devs need some work themselves on the cheats at hand because they have no idea wtf they are looking at or talking about

I love your mercy for people but im a big beleiver in evil thrives been unchallenged or punished, spear the rod spoil the..... they just try to slip there way to adjust find and adapt new ideas in there pursute in cheating. Your giving them lee way for them to find a way its there nature to be UNFAIR and they wont learn if you FORGIVE them without consequences.

Nope only the poor kids with no hand eye coordination that stole the meth pipe from mum's wallet to sell the dregs so they can get thier hands on that cheat device and pretend they're actually something, until reality kicks in and they realise mum and dad are brother and sister and thier cousins the pass around
