Not to ruin anything for you, but if you listen closely you hear him begin to sing too early -listen for the "s" sound as he almost sings "stray". I think his smile was about that little almost. However I may be completely wrong. Also I know this was years ago, I only noticed it upon revisiting.

This song has so much meaning in my life. Being from middle-of-nowhere Kansas, I auditioned for the Radio City Rockettes summer intensive last year, not ever expecting to be accepted.
My mom surprised me with the acceptance when I came out of school to this song and I knew when I heard that that my whole life had changed. I had never been anywhere like New York before, and when I heard the lyric, "if I can make it there, I'm gonna make it anywhere", I knew that I could do anything.
So I went to New York last summer, lived a dream of mine since I was little, and had the most incredible experience of my life!
You and Thomas recaptured that magical feeling of my time in New York. This song holds a special place in my heart and I can't help but thank you so much for reminding me that I can do anything. Hope you and Thomas (and Ben!) had a lovely time there! Much love! 💛💛💛
*Update*: I sustained a rough injury about 5 1/2 months ago that kept me from any classes for 3 months and is no longer improving. I am no longer dancing seriously and miss it so much. The dream is still there but in a different form: acting and theatre. Dreams don’t die, they just evolve. 💛
Update 2: it’s been over 9 months of the injury now. Nothing has been helping. I’m going to a specialist 3 hours from my house in the morning. I’m losing hope that anything is going to help me heal. Hoping for better days. I’ll keep updating this
