Absolutely excellent... Loved the choice of music. Thanks for posting.
Superb, nostalgic indulgence. Thank you for posting.
I didn't know Bromsgrove was in the North East! Great video, though not sure about the Beethoven.
It was my dad who found the footage. I thought it was all the North East, so my bad. Also, the music, it's the best I could find thanks to CZcams. I will try to find something a little more suitable next time. 👍
First time I've heard that Bromsgrove is in the North East! ;)
You're not the first person to say that. The film was marked the North East and I live in the South West, so technically everywhere is the North East, lol.
Appropriate in that the ninth was also the end of an era. The last major example of the Classical form.
Excelente miusic,ando beautiful video
Where is the viaduct sequence at about 20:00?
Personally I don't know, sorry to say. I'm sure someone will help you though.
🤓🙋♂️👍
Was the headlight fitted 9f 2-10-0 that featured in the opening sequences not the ‘Lickey Banker’, and had replaced the ex-S&DJR 8f 0-8-0 “Big Bertha”? Didn’t think Warwickshire was in NE England?
Also seamed to be a high propensity of ex-LMSR motive power for footage allegedly shot in NE England.
It was my dad who was the train buff, so honestly, you would know better than I do. 🙂
Wakefield had an allocation of black fives and 8Fs. as did Low Moor, Farnley Jcn. Leeds Holbeck and Neville Hill were NE sheds
Great quality film. Maybe get it dubbed for added interest rather than the music
The music's just fine goes great with the steam days!!!!
Great quality ? It's not even 8mm let alone 16
Please....remove that bombastic and inappropriate music!
The original music has to be replaced because of copyright, although it wasn't much better. Probably best to mute it.
