$25 chainsaw #1 - Poulan 306A - Is it worth it????

Had an opportunity to pick up a couple of chainsaws for $25/ea. This is the first of the group. Nothing known about the history of them or if/when they last ran. Let's see what condition each is in.

What kind of oil should I use for a saw like this? Just got a 306a but its empty

Is it light , like how much weight does it feel like in your hands

It’s comparable to other saw weights in its class and time. Seems like they all get heavy to me after using them for a while =]

I noticed that around the time of the purchase but I also see references to a 245. Maybe both were used and I thought I even saw a Homelite on one of the movie's covers.

@@canadianslashercosplay thanks for the interest but I’d like to keep it for now. They seem to come up once in a while around here and I hope they do your way as well. Availability seems good on eBay too but I realize pricing isn’t the most favorable for a buyer there. Best of luck in acquiring one.
