AUA Graduation Ceremony - Class of 2019

This video brings to you the wonderful moments of the AUA graduation ceremony - Class of 2019. Parents, alumni, and medical professionals attended this ceremony.
Vernon Solomon, VP Administrative Services & Community Affairs in his commencement speech said “You have indeed chosen a truly noble path, one that allows others to entrust you with their lives. One which you have devoted your life to the care and healing of others. And for that, each and every one of you has to be commended. Welcome the graduating class of 2019.”
Dr Robert Mallin, University Provost, said in his speech, “I will tell you that in my experience to the exact extent you can do this. To the exact extent you can put your patients above your own interests. And every time you do it will result in getting the best out of your profession that you can have.”
While addressing the graduating class, Tulsi Gabbard, Congresswoman, 2nd District Hawaii, said “There’s no higher calling than this. There’s no more rewarding path in life than to dedicate oneself into the service of others.”
Suman Rao, the Valedictorian and Dr Swathi Krishna, Alumni also reflect on their time spent at AUA.
