Great review! Super glad to see a solid outdoor option. I was shopping around the local stores for a good outdoor bball sneaker and they're really difficult to come by.
For $70 the UA Lockdown 6 is a great option...$25 less than the Impact 4's. You get great thick traction, surprisingly good cushion, tough exterior materials (tumbled leather/textured synthetic/mesh ventilation windows). I went for the mod grey cw with antifreeze outsole btw. So far Ive used them coaching, training and in pickup after training. My regular indoor training shoe is the Drose Son of Chi & Curry 9/10 which I use for games.

I found the Nike Air Max Impact 2s about a year and a half ago by accidentally stumbling upon them and just took a shot in the dark because most shoes don’t fit my narrow foot. But needless to say that shoe has been the best basketball shoe I’ve ever owned and that was now two models ago!!! I can’t wait to get the 4s and see how much the shoe has improved over the years!! Great review!! I think these budget models need more love because sure it isn’t the best color or design but the tech and the playability is there and to me, the compromise is WORTH IT. AND PUT SOME RESPECT ON BUDGET SHOES!!!
That’s weird, I have very wide feet and find the impact 2 and 3 nice and wide and way wider than most Nike hoop shoes which are generally narrow
I rolled my ankle with the Impact 2.
I returned it back and got the PG4s. The PG4s blew the Impact 2 out of the water. I still use the PG4s to this day.
Stop talking crap or did they pay you to boost the shoe? I must have had over 100 Nike basketball shoes in my life. These budget shoes do okay for the price. They are faaarrr away from best Nikes ever. Quiet 🤫

1.90 , 125kg , outdoor player, bought it , was a big upgrade from my previous. Love it so far, the downtone design and low profile can be used with jeans also

Budget shoes are great. Especially with Black Friday sales etc.
For the budget conscious, these or huge sales on past models or "non" bball brands which dont have a check or stripes are the best bang for buck

Would you recommend this over Lebron Nxxt gen? Though my budget’s limited, I can stretch (a bit) to Nxxt gen especially I can get it at a discount. I’m a guard that 80% runs and shoots outside rather than slash and finish at the rim. I play more indoors but occasionally outside on asphalt courts. Thanks!
I wish Nike would commit to creating a somewhat premium outdoor basketball shoe whereby it has the tech of a Kobe or GT Cut but the durability of an outdoor shoe

Reminds me of the very first Air Max Infuriate. Nike budget (non signature) models are way underrated.

I'd like these more if they had better color ways. The impact 3 had that "Doll" aka lavender color way and that is the only one I like from this recent model. All said...I guess I'd buy these as soon as there's a lil markdown in the Black/white cw and just add white laces.
The design doesn't even look bad. It's simple and clean. Good budget shoe forsure.
I agree with everything said in this video. Only thing I don't like about this shoe is the height in the forefoot area it's really tight and you can feel that during the run. I understand that there is a break in period with sertain models but I think with this one it will not budge and it's gonna stay super tight. But for the price point especially in my country it's definitely best buy in 2024.

Been using this shoe 6 months. Good traction and nice comfort, but in my opinion the impact protection was lacking. Injured my knee two months in dunking with these, and be wary of slippery conditions outdoors because these shoes don’t have very good slippage. Overall ok for outdoor because there aren’t many outdoor shoes,better option in li Ning wade 808 2, a far superior shoe for outdoor.

@@trespatines305 yep u just gotta loosen the laces first hahahaa dont commit the same mistake that i did lmao, but u will see some kind of loose threads on the top part of the shoe tho i checked the ones in the mall they all look like it so it’s fine i guess

Unfortunately, there is big part of the upper where it's so thin that you can actually see your socks.

Worst basketball shoes I ever bought... Cheap, the heel comes out and at the same time the rest of the foot is struggled. Too long and too narrow. Sprained my ankle with them without any other player involved.
