This is the best metal version of a theme song I've ever heard. You've managed to take the original, and transform it into something just as good as the original. I still listen to this at least a few times a month because it's so fucking awesome. You do Uelmen's work a ton of justice here.

4 and a half years later and i still come here periodically to get my fix.
I do not know a lot about diablo lore but here what I feel when I listen this music.
Tristram is burning tristram is ashes, yet the fire fades ages ago, yet under the ashes I can feel the heat and the scream of Tristram peoples. At each second passed in this village the cursed day, the domm day, the day of its demise summon us back in this dark time, swallowing us in sweet deep nostalgic darkness that have grown in our heart erasing our moments of joy and peace..... Tristram is curse, tristram is haunted. Do not walker here adventurer, or you might be swallow by its tragic darkness.
You're not entirely off the mark; from what I understand Tristram was ultra-fucked in Diablo 1 because deep in the depths under the town's church was literally a portal to Hell.

You are keeping the escence of the theme, emulating Matt's swing perfectly, and keeping the acentuations where they should be and as "pump" as they are in the original.

I think it's a very well done metal. I was surprised - and loved - the bass incursion, and then when he metalizing, the weight comes on the measure. Not left the original axis nor was unnecessary frills.
