    The greatest piece for a cappella choir ever written

      This isn't being sung a capella; there's a continuo providing accompaniment?

      @@sovereign254 continuo is just supporting, you can also sing it a cappella. A motet is also traditionally sung without accompaniment in the renaissance.

    Amazing performance of a work of genius. Or genii, since Johann Frank wrote the first chorale. Thanks for making it such a good choral resource.

      Hi Bach!
      I'm glad that You've looked forward to the 21st century recordings of Your works!
      Could You teach me counterpoint techniues and SATB music theory?! I NEED your essential composing experience, especial Your algorithmical composing techniues.
      I have to make harmonizations for self composed chorale-imitations for a video game (as background & scene music).
      I know You aren't cheap, but I would pay for lessons, if You could teach fast.
      I'm waiting for Your reply!
      Sincenery,
      [InterVox]

    The 19:51 note is possible it has to done with a sub-harmonic singing.
    I have done it 6 times when I sang it.

    Хорошо звучат голоса, когда их не забивает аккомпанемент, тогда звучит почти a cappella..🎶👏👏👏❤

    The music audio isn't in the same key as the sheets and it makes the whole thing impossible to work with

      This. It's in 415 Hz, roughly a semitone lower.

  • @ApplepieFTW
    @ApplepieFTW Před rokem +1

    Just fyi, this is a 415Hz recording. Yes, I also think the recording is very good, but come on... People use these score videos to study like all the time. I think you could give a disclaimer.

      It's in 415Hz (or so), so it's a sounding e-flat

    the sheet disappears too soon at every page

    • @SheetMusicVideo
      @SheetMusicVideo  Před 7 lety +8

      Bertrand Ulrich I always look at least half a bar ahead. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to read a new page if it turned at the last second of the previous page. Particularly in the fast sections.

    • @bertrandulrich
      @bertrandulrich Před 7 lety

      Well, yes, it's a bit too fast though, and the blank page appearing half a second gives the impression you dropped the sheet while you were reading ^^

    • @samuelpazicky3672
      @samuelpazicky3672 Před 6 lety +2

      I think that the timing is great, I sing along and there is no problem, the 0.25s blank page greatly simulates turning the page (not really the score for that moment). Thank you!
