- As a solo sniper in DMZ it's important to be stealthy! Especially as a solo it's one of the most important things in DMZ, stealth gets you more successful exfils and probably some kills too. If you're solo and you're rushing a team, chances are you're not getting out of there alive.
DMZ Solo Sniping is all about stealth. Become a sniper, like how a sniper would be in real life. They don't run around like crazy, they camp somewhere on a mountain and take their target out from far, without the enemy ever knowing where they were.
Yes I camp, Yes I exfil camp and Yes I kill other players. It's all part of the game. DMZ is meant for PVEVP (player vs enemy vs player), it's not just for co-op. It's Call of Duty's answer to Escape from Tarkov. If you don't like the pvp part of the gamemode I'd highly suggest you to play something else!

Fun little tip. The spotter scope has no glint. So you can use the spotter scope to find targets without risking the enemy seeing the huge glint of your sniper scope and then quickly switch to your sniper and start blasting

If your sniping from long range then it isnât a problem at all. You see, if an enemy is out of range then the spotter scope doesnât spot anyone , you can see them but they wonât know you can see them

@@creedstump0662 I know right? Iâve been having a blast wiping full squads in Dmz from 500m+ and them having no clue where the hell the shots are coming from, seeing them try to hide in places they think they are safe is also pretty funny because they most certainly are not safe.
Once the insured weapons are in timeout, you should still be able to access the gunsmith. Being able to store your custom build weapons would be a huge bonus also. Just my opinion

I think 3 weapon insures slots is plenty. I wish they'd give similar missions to unlock slots for equipment and gear too. 3 slots that can be used for backpack/vest/durable mask and 3 slots for everything else like self res/revive pistol/armor box/kill streaks.
Killing other players is fine when you have missions to complete and its way better sportsmanship to take a contract on other player rather than camping the exfil or ambushing a team thats preoccupied with an objective. Sometimes you run into other teams unexpectedly and I get that bit there are players out there ruining the experience for no reason at all.
I disagree. I believe all sorts of PVP are fine. It makes the game much more interesting, knowing you could die and lose your stuff any second. Only let your guard down when it says "successful exfil" on your screenđ
Thatâs fine bro you can bring your misplaced ideas of sportsmanship into the DMZ all you want too, but donât bemoan players who donât play by your arbitrary set of unwritten rules. If all you want to do is XP/attachment and camo farm in a risk free environment, there are other modes for that. If youâre tired of getting ambushed at extract points, use your brain and stop rushing to the center of the extraction with your entire team and sacks full of loot.
Scout out the area before call for extract and have a plan to fight or retreat when you move in to pop the flare.

I go completely the other way than the OP when playing lately, & either let other players pass/extract or offer to team up with them (nothing like rolling through a stronghold or taking out a Juggernaut with a 6-man squad). That said, when I shout "friendly, friendly! Let's join up!" into the mic for ping chat, I know that not everyone wants to play like that, & am still fully prepared to blast away if they remain hostile. It adds a ton of tension to every encounter. I love this mode so far.

Camping exfils for kills is so gutless
honestly the main thing that's missing in DMZ is contraband attachments( so you can alter/strip contraband weapons)
More unique loot (like cammo spray cans with limited uses stuff like that)
and more extractions locked behind keys/cards etc (not just helis)
that would be a very good step forward for this mode.
It is a heli, but hostage rescues are another way to extract
I actually like the idea of extra exfils behind locked doors or something. And yeah they really gotta add contraband attachments!

Reminds me of when players would camp out enemy Dark Zones after folks would go after the bosses' loot and gank them right when they're going to extract (or cut the rope, worst case scenario). After that realization fr The Division, I learnt a lot about trust issues, and once again it emerged in MW2's DMZ.
Yeah, thats the beauty of extraction shooters: you and your loot are never safe. Danger everywhere. I loved the Dark Zone in The Division, especially going rogue was a lot of funđ
I don't understand why more people don't run the XMR with the raptor scope? It is literally a cheat code, wiping a whole team from 600 meters, while they panic because they don't know where you are is soon satisfying.
Personally, i use a bipod with my XMR, because it has better-aiming stability.

Yeah the Raptor with the victus is very powerful, especially for long range. But mid to close range it gets harder cause the zoom is too much.. i'd love to have a variable zoom on the scope, then I'll use it much moređ

I dont like the idea of Exfil camping but I get it. Its how I got my M13b so I wont talk chit and be a hypocrite. What I think they should change is that every team has their own exfil. In real life the enemy does not have your LZ on their map. You can still see when they pop green smoke and see the helicopter coming in but you dont know the exact location before hand. Also, there are tactics that can make your LZ safe. Clear the area. Pop smoke. UAV... etc. Just dont put down a cluster mine AT the LZ. It hurts you too when it goes off. lol. Use the spotting scope to find other players, don't actually lock on to them because they get a notification saying "spotted". A true sniper finds them and terminates them without them even knowing you were there.

Something I'd love to see is a free roam dmz mode, no other players, no timer or anything, just you and the boys exploring the map and bullying NPCs

Noticed you have the ghillie suit arm bug too where it looks like youâre the S.A. Squatch skin in first person but youâre actually playing as König with the beautiful desidia skin.
Is that a bug or is it cause the ghillie suit was wet?

Honestly couldnât tell you, I had the desidia skin and had Königâs arms on it. Once I unlocked the SA Squatch skin via the jerky bags, the Konig Desidia skin lost its arms and I wasnât able to find a fix for it
Maybe itâll be fixed one day but thankfully itâs just a minor graphical glitch for us in first person. You can still look all the way down and see your actual characters torso and legs⊠plus the voice lines.

@@flipmemax Thx.I used to take stims and always an ar or marksman or battle rifle (mostly because my recoil sucks haha) bus since i found your channel i changed my loadouts and also my gameplay and now i canât go without the spotter scope anymore and the sniper and i got to say that since then i became a better player (accept for my recoil control it still sucks đ)I get more kills and get killed way less than before man.
So thx again youâre videos helped me out very much.

I'd love an actual physical storage room. I feel like there's one in store, because when you go into the firing range there is an actual backroom. For the game to have more depth I feel like there should be a gunsmith available for contraband, and more depth in terms of loot and storage.
Yeah, a physical storage to store backpacks/armor/killstreaks/field upgrades etc would be awesome. And 100% they gotta add lootable/buyable attachments to the game so we can modify contraband weapons!

You know something that would be really cool if they can add el-mazrah map offline with bots and open weapons so you can practice sniping or whatever weapon in a less punishing manner.
the firing range is good but doesn't do enough for sniper training i always tried to practice sniping in dmz mode but when I die i get my weapon slot Locked for two hours.

After watching your videos, I've improved my DMZ experience massively! To the point, that I'm taking down other players while shooting at all the AI to level up my sniper. I only started playing it a few days ago and love it! Keep it up brother đȘđȘ

I got the Desidia ghillie too, because it looked super cool, and I thought it would be my only shot at a ghillie since I live in Australia. I've gotten the sasquatch skin since then and I would definitely recommend trying it instead. I did some testing and the Desidia suit has a strange glow to enemies, and the grass on top is a brighter yellow than you'd anticipate. The sasquatch ghillie on the other hand looks quite good and blends into shadows well. Anyways, love the content and your playstyle. Keep it up man!

Use the 7-13x zoom, itâs got smaller glint then the range finder and the victus has virtually no bullet drop

Why it says "146.6M" in your scope? (distance scale)
Its the Raptor scope, it has a built in rangefinder to indicate where the bullet will drop. You unlock this scope by lvling the Victus to max lvl

Gotta say DMZ is hella fun and I dont rage quit like I do battle Royale ..if I do fail a DMZ run,I have plenty of incentive to make another run immediately. Takes a lot from a FPS to keep me hooked and this Dmz mode does it In spades....
I have the same exact feeling. When I lose my insured weapon, purple armor and large backpack i immediately jump back in and work to get them back haha. Its pretty addictiveđ
I get frustrated playing multi player like last night. I know I got other players, but I died first for no reason. Said f it, quit and played dmz. At least when I'm going after an exfil squad, they send a precision strike on my tower. I jump and get downed by it as soon as I land. Only thing I can do is laugh it off and say karmađ€Ł

The JOKR is the best gun in this mode, it can lock onto an LTV from miles away and one shot it, it also one shots a lot of vehicles especially the people with weapon cases

You gotta set the change range to the shared keybind with sprint / focus etc.. normally it'll be shift. Just click shift once and it adjusts

Personally, I find extol camping to be a sun move for sure. However, if itâs for the kill player mission or calling cards then I can let it slide.

Excitement, maybe some weapons, other loot they collected.. killstreaks, self revives etc etc

As a mediocre player from Tarkov to DMZ, I agree about the fact that PvP is essential to DMZ (I would joke that the «no weapons» is like Scav run and the «saved weapon» is a pmc run but without the fact u can get lvl 3 armor)
Sure Bots are the way in to find exp for levels and weapons, but it's not a farming simulator like those mobiles games and pvp is here to teach you how 2 react and fight
Personnaly bots are a way to see if there a ennemies nearby (smalls helicopters when a zone is cleared, big one when the fight is started from minutes ago) and to see where the player is according to the fire.
Btw if you want to extract without spicy surprises, make sure to have a drone or a counter uav

@@flipmemax Thanks for confirming that really wasnt sure. I now always play solo. Random squads is awefull. Now and then you get a good one but my solo extraction rate is way way higher than squad and i dont have to listen babies crying dogs barking women shouting ya know all the normal stuff in a random squad.

I think its the whole point that some players go in scrictly to hunt and camp to take other players out, instead of taking players out when you run into them while doing missions.

Anyone who thinks DMZ is strictly CO-OP is a fool. If it was then you would load into a map with only ai enemies and just you and your squad, and that would literally be CO-OP+. PvP is part of the game and it should be, it gives YOU the choice of killing someone or taking a chance on trusting them. It's a looter-shooter game mode, high risk high reward. Treat everyone like a threat until proven otherwise.

I will say extract camping is a completely fair but scummy tactic. Just as people generally view snipers in real life.

Thanks dude, much appreciatedđ and if I had to choose between signal 50 or spx 80 I'd go for signal 50 all day! Just make sure to put a silencer on it and tune it for range/bullet velocity, signal 50 has a pretty huge bullet drop

Unfortunately I can't find many properly gameplay on yt when people use signal 50 . Most that people use spx 80 but on warezone not dmz .

To be fair, if youâre getting sniped by somebody playing this style in DMZ youâre probably not using cover/concealment enough. He got killed standing in the open, if you want to survive & avoid people like this guy you have to move strategically. Move building to building, have a plan. Know where youâre gonna go f

The only difference is that I use the Raptor FVM40 scope and High Velocity Bullets! The tuning is basically the same.
Equipment I take with me: spotter scope (ALWAYS), i used to bring semtex but I've switched to claymores. If I have one I take the revive pistol with me as field upgrade, and otherwise a munitions box or spotter drone

Man solo sniping is the best way to get kills with a sniper because there looking for multiple glares not one and one glare is hard to spot when running

usually when i kill solos they have nothing, only the trios usually are stackeddd, i suggest sniping in the airfield
Yeah trios usually have quite some loot. Airfield is pretty nice but also quite risky!
If someone's running solo leave them alone. There's no since on being a prick online.

DMZ is about strategy and survival. I am an opportunistic player. If there is a player I know I can eliminate then that is what shall be done. If you canât handle being outnumbered or outsmarted then you got two choices. Rethink your strategy or continue to complain/lose.

My channel is pretty much built on hunting players in DMZ, because itâs fun, this is call of duty, and youâve been essentially given an open world, to use it to just grind out contracts and kill ai would be a waste, the real fun is hunting other players and it will be while the only other real thing to do is collect a case or weapon.
Exactly, it's Call of Duty! In which the core essence is to kill other players. Which we can do in this awesome open world called DMZ. I absolutely love it and will never stop killing other players đ P.S. I will check your channel out later
