I wish this was in the Halo 2 MCC CE Annv. but they had a new score in the remaster...so I hit the Tab key and played that section in the original version because that still has the original Halo 2 Soundtrack version of Blow Me Away.
Though, maybe a mod to get this version into the remaster.....Valora adds that tiny bit that the vocal version of the song needed, would be perfect.....*evil finger pyramid*

I remember this song in Halo 2. It was when the elites and the brutes were fighting. I stepped back to ready myself. I had a fuel rod cannon and a shotgun. I finally amped myself up. Charging through the doors this song came on. That moment was just indescribable. I immediately jumped over a hunter and blasted it with the fuel rod cannon then the two brutes trying to pin me down. Jumping from one platform to the next I was raining down death to my enemies to this song. You couldn't script that even if you tried. There are just some gaming memories you would give anything to recapture.
Amal is correct. this version is considderably worse than the origianl in Halo2.. The Halo2 OST version made you WANT to take on a hunter with a shotgun... or a brute with a magnum.

This song almost caused me to crash. Driving to a new city with my brother, he started laughing and pointed at the screen on the radio, which just said "BLOW ME". We laughed about that for the rest of the trip.

Its the fact that This song was not supposed to be released, Ben didnt agree with it and was backstabbed and it led to the Breakup of the Old Band that made it garbage, Valora has a good voice dont get me wrong but like Ben said his and her voice dont blend at all

No and its not because of Valora, most fans have nothing against Valora/Sydnee since she was unaware of the situation and she actually has a nice voice. Its because the members of the band did this without Bens knowledge. So, while many fans might enjoy the song some, they won't acknowledge it as anything more than okay since she doesn't actually add anything to it and out of respect for Ben.
He was and still is responsible for the majority of mixes in the band, yet he wasn't included in the making of this. Why do you think its literally the exact same song with some added vocals that fade in and out poorly? Cause the rest didn't know what they were doing. Their voices don't really blend properly, at some points you can't even hear her next to Bens voice.

Regardless of any additional vocals, this song cannot escape its lineage. That opening part. I don't know if it was a Marty addition, but it sure as hell sounds like it was made specifically for HALO 2.
Especially given the fact that tune is used when hunting Covenant Shadows through the tunnels of New Mombasa.

I have been in love with the original for years... This version is fun to listen to, but nowhere near the caliber we've come to expect from BB. I while it totally and utterly sucks that it fractured the band as we know it, I can definitely understand Ben Burnley's reasons for pursuing sole rights after this release. I am positive Breaking Benjamin will be back... And I am looking forward to hearing whatever different elements will come with new band members. Can't wait!!!
