OMGGG you finally discovered 2PM, they’re my ult male group from 2nd gen, actually My House was written and composed by Jun. K, as well as other title tracks like Go Crazy you should also check that out, he is an amazing producer and power house vocal, he has produce for other Jyp artist as well like got7, and basically was the first jyp artist to get his songs to be a title, all the members have produce, composed and written songs for their discography, which are fire
Some of my recommendations will be I’ll be back, Promise I’ll be, Go Crazy, A. D. T. O. Y, Heartbeat, Without U, and as for solo songs Jun. K Think About You, No Shadows, NO LOVE, Lost Boy, Phone Call or 30 Minutes Might Be Too Long are some of his masterpieces
But all the members have established solo careers and discographies that show a diverse range of genres and sounds

Suitcatcher is amazing! 🙌🏾 Dreamcatcher is great at covers because they have the performance ability and vocal range to pull off almost any song. Their vocally focused covers are talked about less but are worth a listen because it shows that they're singers with really beautiful and diverse voices. I actually listened to 2PM because of the My House cover and it's the same for a lot of the songs they've covered. I'm mostly here for girl groups and so when they cover boy groups it helps me branch out and discover new artists. The boy group equivalent for me is ONEWE. They cover girl group songs sometimes and I've found some bops because of them. Their covers of Mamamoo's HIP and Oh My Girl's Dolphin sound like they were made by ONEWE from the beginning.
I definitely got them on my radar and gotta get Into them very soon!!
Yessss I love DC’s My House cover so much!!! They killed it! It’s unfair how good all of them look in suits 😫 And I think this is your first time hearing Handong rap?! I’m a big advocate for adding her to the rap line, because she’s done it on just this, Come a Come, and Eclipse but she sounds amazing every time!
Fun fact: originally this cover was just Dami and JiU and it was actually kinda spicy 😂 there’s only a few fancams from the live performances but there is a video of it from Idol Radio that starts out silly but gets very smooth lol
Handong lower register is still soothing as well! Like it’s different from Dami’s in its own way! I hope we get more of it in the future!

2pm & Super Junior are definitely on the more grown & sexy side of KPop but thats because they are grown & sexy. All the members of both groups are in their 30s.
If you haven't already heard 2pm's "Make it" I recommend that as their most recent bop as well as their older songs like "Again & Again"

In 2PM's "My House" all the guys were different fairytale characters:
> Taecyeon was the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood
> Chansung was the Beast from Beauty and the Beast
> Jun K was Romeo from Romeo and Juliet
> Nichkhun is Prince Charming from Cinderella and he is standing next to his noble steed, the fancy car
> Junho is representing the White Rabbit in Alice and Wonderland (which is why you see the bunny)
> Wooyoung has a poison apple from Snow White which he is using to tempt the girl into being poisoned by him so he can manipulate her into falling in love with him
> And of course, the girl is Cinderella -- you see her run from the party and leave her shoe on the stairs.
2PM is the group that coined the title "Beast Idols", which means they are very athletic, muscular and toned -- they had/have a much more masculine image then the typical boy group when they debuted. In their early days they were also known for their B-boy skills and for their tricking. A lot of their early songs have choreography where they were doing a lot of tricks and tumbling which was something new in the world of Kpop, and it made them unique.
Fun fact: 2PM's fandom is named Hottest because 2PM is supposed to be the hottest part of the day. And they were actually created as the counterparts to JYP's ballad boy group 2AM. 2AM's fandom is named I AM because 2AM + 2PM = one day and when combined they become "I AM Hottest." The groups were sort of designed to be the polar opposites of each other as part of their concepts.
2PM is a JYP group, so their choreography is very JYP-like. If you have ever seen any of JY Park's songs (Park JinYoung -- the founder of JYP Entertainment) you will understand what JYP-style dance is like. JYP is known for his dancing and he has a hand in, not only producing his groups' songs, but he often participates in creating the groups choreography, so you will see his style and influence, especially in the early rookie days, of all of his groups.
2PM was also one of the very first Kpop groups to have a Thai member. Nichkhun is known as a prince of Thailand. (Hence, why he was Prince Charming in the MV,) :D
2PM debuted in 2008, about a month or so after SHINee, so even though 2PM is a JYP group and SHINee is an SM group, in the early days, 2PM and SHINee appeared on a lot of variety shows together and they were often paired together. So, 2PM and SHINee are pretty close.
On a side note: GOT7 originally was created to be the junior version of 2PM. So, GOT7 was supposed to take after them, that's why GOT7 debuted with the song "Girls Girls Girls." It is also one of the reasons why Mark and Jackson trained in martial arts stunting and tricks, like the flips you see in that MV, because JYP was hoping to replicate 2PM's style and skill set.
I really don’t know 2pm that well, but this song is so good. Also dreamcatcher killed their cover. Damis rapping is so amazing and iconic that it’s easy to forget she’s also a lead dancer, but then she’s comes through and kills it like this just to remind you. Of course I can’t leave a comment about dreamcatcher without mentioning gahyeon because she has a death grip on me in the best way possible and she is out here wildin especially in these covers.

Not gunna lie. Until this reaction, I had never seen the original, and undoubtedly it is a bop. It has that smooth vibe going on. So I'm glad that I have now seen and heard it...
