Looks like we've got some System Sensor SpectrAlert Classics, Advances and L-Series out of sync. My local BJ's has System Sensor SpectrAlert Classic P24110 110CD Horn/Strobes and a System Sensor Advance that replaced one. I had a dream once about a BJs that had Simplex 4903-9217 110CD Electromechanical Horn Strobes. These strobes look bright!
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554 It kind of caught me off guard that the classic spectralert strobes sounded different than the advance/new strobes installed in various locations throughout the store. Do you happen to know if the classic models typically sounded different than the newer loud (and well known) sound that the advance and newest models make?
@@DEEZNOTES-bl6ho The SpectrAlert Classics in this case are either P2415, P241575, P2430, P2475, P24110 or P1224MC depending on the candela. The Advance is P2R or P4R. The L-Series is P2RL or P4RL. The newest alarm in System Sensor's market, the LED L-Series (not in this store) is P2RLED.
@@DEEZNOTES-bl6hoThey do indeed sound different from one another and of course they look different too. The Advance, L Series and LED L-Series have the same electromechanical horn tone. The Gentex Commander 1 and 3 look similar and sound different. A Simplex 4903-9219, 9236 and 9252 sound different because one's electromechanical and the others are mixed electronic horns. Free Run, SmartSync and Addressable TrueAlerts all sound different from one another.
Yeah I Also See It That The System Sensor Spectralert Classic Horn Strobes And System Sensor Spectralert Advance Horn Strobes And System Sensor L Series Horn Strobes Have Poor Synchronization
@@ryancrooks123 They definitely do. Some of the units appear to have been replaced over the years, while some of the classic units from 2005 when this location opened remain
Well Wheelock As and Mt are Even Worse than the Advances. I went to a Elementary school with Wheelock As for indoors and Wheelock Mt for outdoors, and those Alarms will make your Ears ring really Bad.
@@SilentknightSK-pc2pt Although BJ’s as a company is cheap (like most companies) and won’t pay to have a technician come out to fix it unless they have to (i.e. Anything risking an OSHA violation 🤡). Unless it puts the company at risk for legal trouble, it’s not getting fixed anytime soon unfortunately. Unfortunate but it is what it is 🤷♂️

The alarms would call the fire department! And the would know what is going on
The fire department was dispatched to here following this. It was falsely activated by something in the deli department apparently
Apparently the ducts need to be cleaned where the rotisserie chickens are prepared
Another thing I'll add is that my Work Has Spectralert Classics and Advances as well. The Classics do 120 Bpm Pulse and the Advances do 180 Bpm pulse
@@jaybird2000 Nice. Are some of the advances replacements for classic units?
@DEEZNOTES-bl6ho I believe so. The Store I work at was built in the late 90s, so I would say yes

@@jaybird2000 The wheelock bell fire alarms were always my least favorite. Definitely scared me as a kid
@@jaybird2000 The ones in this video while loud, don’t bother me as much as bells do for some reason.
@DEEZNOTES-bl6ho I've heard Advances in person before, they are loud, but The Wheelock As and Mt Alarms are like 10 Decibels louder.
They should ether set all the horn strobes to continuous or buy a sync module.

Of course the classics are set to continuous…..
@@codymccone7469 Yeah.
@@codymccone7469 At least they weren’t as loud as the advances those. Those hurt my ears a lot more 😂
Still I can never go anywhere near a fire alarm in continuous mode lol
