They kept me entertained THE WHOLE TIME. The staging was actually good and kept me hooked. It deserved to qualify! Great vocals!
What the hell were they thinking with this staging?
I think the staging was responsible for them not making it to the final.
If there was a competition "How to bury a song with bad staging", this one would win it. Such an empty stage with creepy dancing in masks... 😮
The budget for this years "Eesti Laul" was cut short from all the taxes, regulations and etc, the management team even came out early that this year is going to be drastically different by budget

wish that ewert would have qualified with this instead of his other song...
Expected much more from the staging but the song still slaps!
Unpopular opinion: this was the best staged song of the night. A pity it didn't go through
Just remember that Cartoon is Estonia's largest and most internationally known band, and yet this is the staging they pulled off.. yikes...
edit: keep in mind aswell that this was one of my favourites too
What estonia are you talking about? That band is definitely not the largest. Even bedwetters got more famous throughout time, but if you’re talking about literally the largest band in estonia, that would rather be something like Metsatöll or Ewert and the Two Dragons, or maybe even 2 Quick Start or Trad Attack

I LOVED the staging. I thought it was crazy in a cool way. The song is crazy cool too.
@@hangingontheWildside Bedwetters hasn't really been spoken about for well over a decade, and Joosep (the lead singer of Bedwetters) is one of the members of Cartoon anyway lol
@@hangingontheWildside its also the most streamed estonian artist on spotify, by far from any other estonian artist (ewert and the two dragons has under 30k monthly listeners, metsatöll 18k, cartoon has over 3 million. just to put into perspective)

Absolutely terrible staging, this was such a brilliant contender with. the staging! Still, my favourite from all eesti laul, on my forever playlist. 💕

Staging wasn't the greatest but this should of been an easy qualifier imo.
The song was okay but the weird staging completely ruined it. Imo deserved NQ.

Looks like they thought this weird boring choreography is the main point in this performace. And the singing just only acts like a background activity there. And this choreo is really boring because of it does not change much during these minutes here, no idea, no purpose. Anyway, sounding is still normal, including vocals, although I would have kept the music on a bit lower level comparing with vocals.
