It's not last 50 years, rather it's almost all human history to get here, yeah in last 50 years we do get momentum but even to harness energy available on our own planet I don't believe we will get that much advance soon.

@Gaurz133 for eg. If we stop the time then we can only see the last image of object when we stopped the object as well as in the other hand only photons of last image had reached the eye retina then after that it will be dark.
And the main and important reason for darkness is, we can only see an object if the photons of light source (like sun) are falling on an object and that part of objects photons are reflected to respective viewers eye. So if the photons of light source had been stopped falling on the object in the past then what photos (object) are you going to see,??? There will be darkness due to absence of light source on the object 👍🏻
