Hi, hope someone can help me. I have an iPhone 8 with backlight issue and a donor iPhone 8 board (intel). 35, 37 and 39 are normal value on J5700. R5733, R5734 and R5735 are good. D5661 and D5660 are ok. All backlight capacitors are normal.
Just in case I have swapped R5733, R5734, R5735, D5661, D5660 and U5660. The donor working fine with those parts that I have taken out from the other one but the phone still has backlight issue with the donor's parts.
Any idea, please?

It depends. This is not the only reason which will cause the phone no display. You need to troubleshoot.

How I fixed my 8plus black screen:
Step 1 - Press volume up
Step 2 - Press volume down
Step 3 - Press and hold Power side button until you see the apple logo

What causes this to happen in the first place?
It might be caused by incorrect operations when connecting the LCD to the board. The connector is damaged and gets shorted, and then the resistors will burn out.
how it can be possible if the battery isn't plugged in? or maybe there was plugged in.
i have the same problem with an i7. i have 4V2 on U3703 but on the output by PN5V7_LCM_MESON_AVDDN (E2, E3) i have nothing! there is no resistor to the display connector; i replaced the ic but the problem is still there...what should i check? thx
@@leerzeichen1910 i have the same problem with my iphone 8+ and believe me it wasn't plugged in, I was on youtube and suddenly the display turned off. I thought it froze but after restarting a couple of time realized the phone is on as i can attend call but there is no display.. :( now cant even repair it due to lockdown.
