Yuqi's vocals are so underrated it's actually quite upsetting. The texture is so complex and unique. Her powerful and soothing deep voice would get her a golden ticket to Hollywood fame and Grammy awards. Not to mention her songwriting and producing abilities. Her BIG personality and humour. What an absolute gem that was born to be a star.
Funny I really thought Yuqi was an american-asian singer because the first ever song I heard from (G)I-dle was Giant and Bonnie and Clyde (I only started listening to kpop last year). The songs were very western and hollywood so I searched her up and was ultimately surprised she’s from a kpop group. And now I’m a big fan

I have known about G-Idle for years but only heard their title tracks. I started listening to their b-sides and solo work and omg this girl ... I love Yuqi's voice so much. She's so talented and I love her voice. This episode deserves 200 million.
Their bsides are all title track worthy and knowing that Gidle was involved in composing, writing and production makes me so proud of them!

I've always loved how funny and confident Yuqi was on shows, it's so great seeing her also grow more confident in her singing and embracing her distinct vocal style. I really believe she's a big reason why newer girl groups have been experimenting with having members sing in more low and medium tones. I love that we're seeing that change and I love Yuqi's voice.

The vocal color is so unique. Not only in the kpop industry but in general. Her voice is so recognizable. It goes deep but also goes high she can sing any type of song and it will still sound good. She is an amazing artists.

In comparison to Kim Feel's, it sounds like her pain is recent with shorter endings while Kim Feel's sound wistful as he drags the ending note. Both give the song a different feel
