When I went to take the gold back after just one year, I was informed that they have sold out the gold without informing me or by Publishing the same in newspaper. എന്റെ ഒരു അനുഭവം പറയാം... എനിക്ക് അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉള്ള ബാങ്കിൽ ലോൺ ഉള്ളതിനാൽ ഈ പറഞ്ഞ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ ഒന്നിൽ കൊണ്ടു പോയി ഗോൾഡ് വെക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിതമായി ... എനിക്ക് ഒരു മാസത്തെ കാലാവധിയിൽ വെച്ചാൽ മതി എന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് അവിടേക്ക് ചെന്നത് ... ഇത്തരം സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ ഇടപാട് നടത്താ ൻ ഭയമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു ... എന്നാലും ചെറിയ ഒരു കലയാളവല്ലേ എന്ന് കരുതിയാണ് ചെന്നത് .... പലിശ എത്ര ശതമാനമാണ് എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന് അവർ വെക്തമായി ഉത്തരം തന്നില്ല .... ഗോൾഡ് തന്നാൽ ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ് എത്ര വരും എന്ന് പറയാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ... തുടർന്ന് 350 രൂപ പ്രതി മാസം പലിശ ആകും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു .. ഞാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചു ... എന്നാൽ വീട്ടിൽ വന്ന ശേഷം അവർ തന്ന റെസീപ്റ്റ് കണ്ട് ഞെട്ടിപ്പോയി .. പ്രതിമാസം 20.5 ശതമാനം പലിശ ... മുപ്പത് ദിവസ്സം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അത് 27.5 ശതമാനം മായി മാറും.. 60 ദിവസ്സം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അത് 29 % ആയി മാറും ... ഇതിന് പുറമെ 90 രൂപ മാസം വെച്ച് ഓവർ ഡ്യൂ വേറെ .... ഇപ്പൊ മനഃ സമാധാനം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു ....ഇത്തരത്തിൽ പലിശ എക്സ് റ്റെന്റ് ആകുന്ന കാര്യം അവർ മിണ്ടില്ല .. എന്തിനു എത്ര യാണ് ഇന്റെറെസ്റ്റ് എന്ന കാര്യം പോലും അവർ തുറന്ന് പറയില്ല ... ഇത് വല്ലാത്ത ഒരു കെണി യാണ് ... മുൻപ് സ്ലിപ്പിൽ ഇക്കാര്യം രേഖ പെടുത്തില്ലായിരുന്നു ... എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ അതുണ്ട് ... അത് തന്നെ വലിയ കാര്യം.. ഈ കൊറോണക്കാലത്ത് തൊഴിൽ പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരാൾക്ക് മാസം കൃത്യമായി പലിശ അടക്കാനോ നിശ്ചിത സമയത്ത് സ്വർണം തിരിച്ചെടുക്കാനോ കഴിയില്ല എന്നത് ഒരു യാഥാർഥ്യമാണ് ... പലിശ അടക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ ആ സ്വർണ്ണം പിന്നെ എടുക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല ... അത് അവർക്കും അറിയാം ... അവിടെയാണ് കളി .. ഇങ്ങനെ പാവങ്ങളുടെ പണം തട്ടിയാണ് ഇവരൊക്കെ വളർന്ന് പന്തലിച്ച് നിൽക്കുന്നത് ... ബാങ്ക് പലിശ കൂടിയാൽ 9% ആണ് എന്ന് ഓർക്കണം ...ബാങ്ക് തരുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ കുറച്ച് കൂടുതൽ തുക ഇവർ തരും... അതാണ് ആകെയുള്ള ഒരു ഗുണം.. അതിനു ഇരട്ടി പലിശ കൊടുത്ത് മുടിയുകയും ചെയ്യും ...

My mother's gold chain lost about an inch and a half (in Length)while with Muthoot (Kozehchery) in the 80s. Never knew gold shrinks!! Old habits never go away. എന്റെ ഒരു അനുഭവം പറയാം... എനിക്ക് അക്കൗണ്ട് ഉള്ള ബാങ്കിൽ ലോൺ ഉള്ളതിനാൽ ഈ പറഞ്ഞ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ ഒന്നിൽ കൊണ്ടു പോയി ഗോൾഡ് വെക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിതമായി ... എനിക്ക് ഒരു മാസത്തെ കാലാവധിയിൽ വെച്ചാൽ മതി എന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് അവിടേക്ക് ചെന്നത് ... ഇത്തരം സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ ഇടപാട് നടത്താ ൻ ഭയമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു ... എന്നാലും ചെറിയ ഒരു കലയാളവല്ലേ എന്ന് കരുതിയാണ് ചെന്നത് ....
പലിശ എത്ര ശതമാനമാണ് എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന് അവർ വെക്തമായി ഉത്തരം തന്നില്ല .... ഗോൾഡ് തന്നാൽ ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ് എത്ര വരും എന്ന് പറയാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ... തുടർന്ന് 350 രൂപ പ്രതി മാസം പലിശ ആകും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു .. ഞാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചു ... എന്നാൽ വീട്ടിൽ വന്ന ശേഷം അവർ തന്ന റെസീപ്റ്റ് കണ്ട് ഞെട്ടിപ്പോയി .. പ്രതിമാസം 20.5 ശതമാനം പലിശ ... മുപ്പത് ദിവസ്സം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അത് 27.5 ശതമാനം മായി മാറും.. 60 ദിവസ്സം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അത് 29 % ആയി മാറും ... ഇതിന് പുറമെ 90 രൂപ മാസം വെച്ച് ഓവർ ഡ്യൂ വേറെ .... ഇപ്പൊ മനഃ സമാധാനം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു ....ഇത്തരത്തിൽ പലിശ എക്സ് റ്റെന്റ് ആകുന്ന കാര്യം അവർ മിണ്ടില്ല .. എന്തിനു എത്ര യാണ് ഇന്റെറെസ്റ്റ് എന്ന കാര്യം പോലും അവർ തുറന്ന് പറയില്ല ... ഇത് വല്ലാത്ത ഒരു കെണി യാണ് ... മുൻപ് സ്ലിപ്പിൽ ഇക്കാര്യം രേഖ പെടുത്തില്ലായിരുന്നു ... എന്നാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ അതുണ്ട് ... അത് തന്നെ വലിയ കാര്യം..
ഈ കൊറോണക്കാലത്ത് തൊഴിൽ പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരാൾക്ക് മാസം കൃത്യമായി പലിശ അടക്കാനോ നിശ്ചിത സമയത്ത് സ്വർണം തിരിച്ചെടുക്കാനോ കഴിയില്ല എന്നത് ഒരു യാഥാർഥ്യമാണ് ... പലിശ അടക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ ആ സ്വർണ്ണം പിന്നെ എടുക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല ... അത് അവർക്കും അറിയാം ... അവിടെയാണ് കളി .. ഇങ്ങനെ പാവങ്ങളുടെ പണം തട്ടിയാണ് ഇവരൊക്കെ വളർന്ന് പന്തലിച്ച് നിൽക്കുന്നത് ... ബാങ്ക് പലിശ കൂടിയാൽ 9% ആണ് എന്ന് ഓർക്കണം ...ബാങ്ക് തരുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ കുറച്ച് കൂടുതൽ തുക ഇവർ തരും... അതാണ് ആകെയുള്ള ഒരു ഗുണം.. അതിനു ഇരട്ടി പലിശ കൊടുത്ത് മുടിയുകയും ചെയ്യും ...
