Ultimate combo in halo 4:
Battle rifle
Bultshot
Hard light shield
Plasma/frag grenades.
At first I thought he was going to stick himself somehow with the plasma nade.
*That was just the realistic version of cartoon characters running into objects at full speed*
But the guy didn't run into the shield. He shot the shield point blank with a shotgun and it deflected the shot back at him and made him kill himself.

Would be cool if the game could detect that the pellets reflected off of your shield before they killed the enemy and award you the kill accordingly instead of registering it as a suicide.
It is a suicide tho. Whether intentional or not, you're still dying to your own actions
@@Espartanica If you try to stab me, but I catch your arm and redirect the strike into your own gut, I have stabbed you. Apply the same principle to this gameplay.
@@Waspinator1998 If you jump into a cage with a rabid tiger that's suicide. Being murdered doesn't mean it can't also be a suicide. If you make the choice that leads to your death, that is suicide.
@@Espartanica But the tiger still killed you. If the shield in the gameplay hadn't been deployed, the shotgun user would not have died. There was action on the part of the defender and therefore credit should be awarded to him.

U can do it with tank shots as well
You can actually deflect most UNSC and Promethean rounds off of the Hard-light shield and if the angle is right, you can deflect them back at the shooter if they are close enough.
I've walked through a kill ball using the shield. I have no idea how or why.
This is the one time I've ever seen the halo 4 shield being useful lol
its pretty useful actually, anytime anyone is shooting at you with a tank or heavy artillery stuff, just pop out that shield for a second and you will be safe, it requires skills too operate properly
The shield can deflect Scorpion shots, Mantis rockets, Warthog rockets, and Sniper Rifles.
Yes, it can deflect shots. But anyone with a half decent Halo skillset operating a vehicle who sees a shield up will just shoot beside the player, not directly at that shield. There is a reason no legitimately awesome players use it....cause it is practically useless 😅
@@kevinc638 I mean, I know that the movement is decreased but the turning speed isn't and I know how many times the shield has saved me so I can't complain
