The gameplay in this video comes from the PBS Kids game app. The specific game is one of several Wild Kratts games within the app. It is intended to help kids learn about animals with the help of Wild Kratts Martin.
Within the game, Martin must navigate through mazes to collect informational coins, which reveal hints about the animal that needs to be rescued from Donita Donata. While collecting the information, Martin must avoid the laser beams from manichans. Once all coins are collected, Martin exits the maze.
After finishing each maze, three pieces of information are revealed about an animal. There are several animals rescued in the game including a: beaver, pony, porcupine, polar bear, tenrec, sloth bear, osprey, puffin, and penguin. Some of the hints / facts revealed about the beaver, for example, include that it chews down trees to build its home, that it lives in a lodge made from branches, and that it has a wide tail like a boat paddle. Another set of hints for the ospreay, as another example, includes that it has great vision, eats fish, and soars through the sky.
