@@Sweetsimplevegan Well seemingly not all the vegan ones are even labeled as such because my stepmom bought their coconut granola today and it didn't have the vegan label but the ingredients seemed all vegan so I messaged them on facebook and they said it is vegan. weird considering other products in the same line have the label
This is a good one to share. I'm fully obsessed with Grocery Outlet. It's like a vegan treasure hunt. Even though we are so spoiled in Portland I still shop there every week.
I've noticed that in the last 2 years Grocery Outlet has started carrying a lot more vegan options. It's great! I spend like $60-$80 for a full grocery trip there when normally my receipt at other places is always at least $115. I wish their produce was nicer, though.
I wanted to note that I asked Back To Nature if one of their products doesn't contain honey, is it safe to considered it vegan-friendly, and they said "our products are not certified vegetarian or vegan". The ingredients on those cookies seem all good, but just wanted to point that out in case anyone is strict about it.
Seriously! If they carried fresh produce it would make it almost the perfect place to go grocery shopping!

Grocery Outlet is THE best for vegan on a budget! Sometimes the items are close to expiring, but as long as you stay aware of that, the deals are too good to pass up. I found Violife cheese for only $2 a few weeks ago (expiry date Jan 2021).

Grocery outlet is my jam!!! I think their “compare at” prices can be deceiving though... i think they tend to “compare” to the most expensive price the item can be sold at so that you feel like you’re getting a great deal
Same with Winco. Their compare by prices are always so damn high

This is a much nicer Grocery Outlet than the one by my house - wayyyyy more stuff. Great tour!
i love all of these vegan products and grateful that we have these alternatives but i just wish that these companies would think about the plastic packaging...like we need biodegradable and compostable packaging...possibly made out of cellulose
That would be awesome. I would def buy more of the packaging option was better. I think it’s good to let those companies know that. Just recently Native deodorant started carrying some of their products in paper packaging just because customers and Shelbi from Shelbizleee were asking for it.

I can't even tell you how grateful I am you are sharing this info! Okay so I rarely if ever comment on videos, but I have to with you guys. I am in North Carolina and we do not have a Grocery Outlet, BUT I still appreciate seeing what the options are elsewhere. A lot of times the "new" vegan products that hit the west coast first eventually trickle towards the east coast at some point. Anyway please know all your efforts and work are really worth it and meaningful to the vegan community!

Grocery outlet is criminally underrated! I go at least one a month to stock up on what I can.
That Vevan cheese is my new favorite I definitely recommend it. My grocery outlet sells olipops for 99¢

I just tried Vevan thanks to Cash N Carry and it’s got to be my favorite vegan cheese. It melts and it tasted amazing in a roux for Mac and cheese. 10/10

Can y’all do one at a Walmart??? All I have in my rural town is a Walmart, now transitioning into a supercenter, so their range is expanding thank goodness but sometimes it’s still hard to know what’s available for my lifestyle.

I go to the Folsom and Placerville grocery outlets in Ca. I find so many reasonably priced organic/vegan items! The expiration dates seem to give you more time these days too. I'm so grateful for them!

the huge bag of vegetables pot stickers is DELECIOUS with edamame and corn in it and i would say has about 3-4 meals out of it for my family of 2 paired with some stir fry Ramen. YUM i loved this video thank you Jasmine and chris
Excellent video and still watched even though there's no Grocery outlet stores in the UK. The alternative stores in the UK are probably the Grocery aisle of discount stores like Pound land, Pound stretcher, Home bargains and B&M stores.

Looks like a fun place to do a big stock up grocery haul. I’ve never seen or heard of this store before. I think Aldi’s is probably considered the more affordable grocery store in the Midwest? Big lots does sell some things but it has a lot of craft and home type supplies.

I was at a Grocery Outlet in Rainier, OR (I shop between 2 or 3 of them when I’m nearby one) the other week and bought a TON of the VioLife cheeses! (need to go back, lol...gotta stock up for the winter) Such a GREAT deal, when you can normally spend up to $6 on the slices or shreds at places like WFs, New Seasons, etc! Grocery Outlet is really becoming an awesome place to buy some cool vegan, gf and Organic items at a great price! But, buy em up quick, cause when they’re gone, they’re gone! Have you guys ever tried a food delivery service like hello fresh? I’m look for a good vegan/vegetarian one!
I'm in the UK and I tried hello fresh here and found it wasn't vegan friendly at all. I had to commit to paying for a box before I could even see the recipes available, and then only one was vegan and I had to choose 3. Vegetarian/flexitarian hubby had a cheesy feast leftover after we modified things so I could have them lol. Cancelled right away and switched to Gousto, which has at least 5-6 vegan options available each week and you can order one-off boxes of you just want to test them out. In the US there's a larger variety of options -- I think Vegan Bodega Cat tried one she really liked in a recent video.

Damn, I wish we had that store in Atlanta! It's like a super fancy ALDI, but with way more vegan options. The Amy's Chinese noodles with cashew sauce is probably my favorite Amy's frozen meal, it's so good.
This place is straight up wild. How do they make money! LOL some of those things here in NYC (I know, I KNOW) are legit 50-75% higher in price! That 3.99 vegan cheese is closer to 6 here 😭

Interesting that Vevan is there! I was told that they only give out to restaurants. A couple of restaurants in my area use their mozzarella for their vegan pizzas. It’s really good just sticks to the roof of your mouth a bit if you aren’t careful

I wonder how these grocery stores work? Like how can they sell products so cheap
I used to work at Grocery Outlet and we would basically get the items that didn't sell at bigger stores. if a big chain grocery store ordered a million vegan burgers (they have overstock) but they know they'll never sell that much before they expire, they sell it to Grocery Outlet at a steep discount, so it's not a total loss. or big stores need the shelf space for things that they know are popular for their store (we would get a lot of weird flavors of things that would be discontinued). OR if a company misprints something on their packaging, it'll go to a bargain market. those are all the usual reasons but the owners/store managers are also able to personally order product that they know their customers will enjoy 😊

Some of those are good deals and some of those are terrible but they lie and say it's heavily discounted. For example, I could get a bigger bag of potstickers from chinatown for $2.50

We shop at a Portland area Grocery Outlet for our vegan goodies and you guys bought so many of the same things we get.
The SO Delicious coconut macaroon vegan ice cream for 1.99 is probably the most dangerous thing ever to happen to our waistlines
Also THEM TOTS we have been known to sprinkle some Vevan cheese on OreIda tater toys and then air fry them right with the cheese on them, it's the perfect food. Air fried tater tots are a legit vegan self-care life hack.
We were also lucky enough to find the 1lb sacks of Anthony's nutritional yeast for 9.99, we absolutely stocked up on that when it was available.
They aren't always there, but I've found $0.88 Ripple yogurts which is another time I just went absolute nuts buying enough to have some with my oatmeal every day. Save those cups and propagate spider plants all year long baby!
It's dangerous shopping there, man. Too much good food for not-New Seasons prices.
I discovered that some of the Morning Star products have dairy.
Mont of them shouldn't anymore. They pledged to be fully vegan by 2021, so I think there should only be a couple items left to fix. Everything I've seen over the last year or so from them has been vegan.

My grocery outlet had black bean and veggie mini burgers. Also that birds eye pasta is disgusting the grossest thing ever tasted like vomit. I love the oat milk ice cream. Your grocery outlet is twice as big as mine, but even mine being in a tiny small town has plenty of vegan options. That sliced cheese is amazing taste like popcorn lol
