Very informative video. I've been collecting crystals for a few years now and, like you, I have found reliable sources of the formation of them hard to find. Thank you for taking the time to make this and sharing it. From UK.

Great video, it’s very hard to find information about Quartz formations. I have many varieties but I’m also looking to find more info. Particularly on quartz formations . Thanks for sharing, keep it up 😊

I'm just starting to get into rockhounding but unfortunately I'm having an impossible time trying to learn about geological surveys in my but mostly I cant find any sufficient pictures videos or website to help me identify the types of quartz I'm finding, I am fairly sure it is quarts but I could be wrong I have clear yellow some black and many with different types of metal coming out of them , none are in a crystal form but I would really appreciate it if anyone could help educate me on what I'm finding

Seeing all those crystals jumbled in a pile together in the thumbnail was scary for me the thought that one of them could get damaged I’m super protective over my crystals and would never put them together like that

I appreciate the concern, but I can assure you that no crystals were harmed in the making of this video. The hope was just to show off as many colors of quartz I could in one photo.

If you'd like to go about buying quartz, I'd recommend Etsy as a great place to start. There are often times great selections for low prices there.
