  • Welcome back to Bangkok, Thailand. In this video I will be giving you a tour through Bangkok using the public transportation to show you just how amazing and affordable it is to navigate around this massive city in Thailand. Bangkok, Thailand is known for many things such as Incredible Thai street food, amazing shopping malls, and beautiful people. Yesss I love Thailand too having been here at least 3 times over the last 10 odd years ! Love the exotic spicy foods and beautiful beach scenery... Hope to be back here real soon for more adventures of foods, scenery and shopping 🛍! I noticed more n more Foreigners are either retiring or at mid life settling down in Thailand because of how Modernised Thailand has become and yet maintaining its traditional values and practices which is what makes Thailand unique...There's never a dull moment in Thailand 🇹🇭 with a mixture of so many cultures both East n West thrown into the hustle n bustle of Thailand! Great Coverage Chris 👏 Well done !!!

Thai people are so amazing. Even if the sidewalks are terrible for wheelchairs, they don’t care if you roll on the road to avoid obstacles. In the west, everyone honked at me when i tried. Jere they offer to push you. My condo security even pushes me to the BTS lift. He doesn’t only get good karma, but also pizza delivery as a thank you

Very informative, useful and well presented video. I could’ve benefited watching this before my last visit to Bangkok, I was uncomfortable using the rail transportation system so I road the passenger seat on motorcycles and that was even more uncomfortable because of the noise, helmet and dangerous vulnerability of traffic.
Will take the sky train next time for sure!

    Welcome back to Thailand 🤗😉🤙❤️🇹🇭
There is a Red Cross Fair in Samut Prakan Province or Phra Pathom Chedi Fair. which is a temple on the other side of the river You can take the BTS sky train to Pak Nam BTS station and visit the event. The work started in the evening. It was a very big event and a lot of people.
But if you come earlier, you can visit the Samut Prakan City Observatory as well. Can see the view of Koh Sichang and the Chao Phraya River.
And if you want to get a good value for the BTS ride, I recommend you to buy a day pass. For about 150 baht, you can get on and off at any station within 1 day.
And the last train will run out at midnight. Or maybe half past midnight sometimes.

That food stand at 19:13 is very famous. They sell big portion of delicious fried softshell crab for only 60 baht. And the orange vest for motercycle taxi can be cost a lot because it allows the rider to station in only the registered area written on the vest and there is limited number of the vests per area. For some busy areas that the rider can make a lot of money, it might costs up to 100,000 baht to get a licensed vest. About QR code payment, a lot of Thai people use this type of payment because it's easy, and convenient. You don't need to touch dirty bills and coins and no one can steal or rob your money.

Nice video! I only want add some things: Tickets for travelling on AC coach services is after distance, so you cannot just hop on hop off as you have to tell your destination to the ticket inspector (mostly women). Yes, you can buy a ticket to the terminal stop and then hop off anywhere else, but it can cost you more than 20 Baht.
Price for coaches without AC is eight Baht, and you can go as far as you want. But honestly, most times I do not like them. They are fine as long the bus is driving, but when it stops in a traffic jam they can become rather uncomfortable especially in hot season. Believe me, I lived long time in an area where I only had the option to go home (if I did not want a taxi) from BTS by using a non AC coach service, it was horrible to wait in the heat sometimes. Very happy I do not have to do that anymore.
MC taxi: The prices are written on their main stops, use google lens to translate. They normally do not cheat you.
Taxi metre: If you start from touristy area as Khaosan, Nana area, Silom then taxis will give you a fixed price. You can haggle a bit though. But in other areas they will switch on metre without asking. Yes, it is true, it can be cheaper to take a taxi than public transport.
    Keep rolling!

Using Google Map application on mobile phone in Thailand can show you all modes of connecting public transportations (bus, MRT-subway, BTS-skytrain) that can transfer you from place to place.
Many options you can choose such as best route, fewer transfer, less walking, wheelchair accessible or lowest cost.
Christ, you may try. It's interesting and very helpful You may make another clip for this. During riding, It can show you realtime, where you are, how long when you'll reach your destination.
