As a 49ers fan, Joe Burrow’s ascension to elite status these last two years has been terrific to watch. Literally watching a legend write his own history with every passing week. I love it.

Around the Baltimore game they lost I think he started getting better. Then the death of Mike Zimmer’s son seemed to rally them once they got over that. I was at the freezer bowl in 1982 when the Bengals won the AFC Championship. It was a long dry spell after the 1980's. Almost every corner gas station has Bengals gear for sale. I suffered all those years as a Bengals fan. I am almost 50 years old. I am now able to enjoy the Bengals success with my 16 year old son. It was all worth it.
My son is 10 and only started to pay attention middle of last season. He thinks the Bengals have always been like this. He's positive they will win this weekend because, "We always beat KC." It is a very different way to look at the team than I am used to.

I was rooting for them too. Nobody wants to see people get hurt. It was obviously tragic what happened with hamlin, but after a few days it was clear that he was recovering which is great. The media and the nfl was trying to twist the story to generate publicity. Even the poor people who were killed at work in the Buffalo shooting did not get that level of attention by the nfl and the bills
Man, major props to the bengals and burrow from bills mafia. Definitely the bills energy and emotions looked tapped. At no point did the bengals not completely dominate Buffalo. Hope they win it all, for the respect they and the city showed damar.

After so long watching the Bengals and year after year of heartbreak, it is so good to hear good words in people's mouths. I've heard a number of comparisons to Brady, and I sincerely hope Burrow has as long an storied a career. The idea of kids growing up seeing the Bengals as winners, the idea that one day I could see eyes roll followed by "Jesus, Bengals in the divisonal round AGAIN?" makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I know even the 05-06 season Carson goes down against Pittsburgh. He was great at times. Then the Dalton era we had good Sundays but we melted under the lights. 1 and done. I even let the doubt creep in going into the Baltimore game. Then we had the fumble in jungle! That's the stuff that always happened to us. Or we have a total melt down like against Pittsburgh with the Burfict giving AB CTE not to mention the fumble by Hill that lead to all the nonsense. This is a new Era!

Can't get enough of Rich. Easily the classiest, most honest and logical talk show analyst imho. And one of the very few people in the media that have respected the Bengals from the very start (I'm talking 3 years ago during Burrow's rookie season).
As an LSU fan who followed Burrow from college. I am shocked that so many other people are shocked with this guy's ability & football IQ. This guy played his first year of NFL football his senior season at LSU. It isn't his ability to make great plays that makes him so god. It's his ability to avoid huge mistakes & bad plays. He believes in his teammates & makes everyone around him better. He has all the veteran traits of a Tom Brady, or Drew Brees combined with great play making ability.
The Bengals would walk through fire for Joe. People can do amazing things for a persona like Joe Burrow. That's really powerful stuff when everyone buys in.
After Joe Burreaux’s 2018 season I was convinced that LSU had managed to acquire a very talented QB. After the 2019 season my jaw had dropped and the fact that he led the Tigers to be the greatest college football team in history, I was sure that ANY team that drafted him would have success LONG term. I have been a Saints fan all of my life. I had to change allegiance from the Saints to the Bengals when Joe was drafted by the Bengals, followed by Chase. WHO Dey!!
As an Ohio native living here in Southern California for 43 years, I've always supported my home state teams as my heritage is there. Dad from the north, mom from the south & me being born in Columbus. When the Browns left after 1995, the Bengals was the team I supported & lived through those years of embarrassment. I'm usually watching the Aussie longing for spring and summer this time of year, long after my Bengals season is over. Still watch the Aussie, but the Bengals are front and center at the end of January, and I love it! Ive been a Brady fan for 20+ years. Ive become a Burrow fan for the same reasons I became a Brady fan. I'm glad the league is in good hands. We're getting spoiled with the level of QB play over the last 20 years.

After so long watching the Bengals and year after year of heartbreak, it is so good to hear good words in people's mouths. I've heard a number of comparisons to Brady, and I sincerely hope Burrow has as long an storied a career. The idea of kids growing up seeing the Bengals as winners, the idea that one day I could see eyes roll followed by "Jesus, Bengals in the divisonal round AGAIN?" makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I became a Bengals fan after Joe got drafted Bc I’m a diehard LSU fan. It has definitely been an entertaining 2 years. That first year was rough, I feel bad for lifelong bengals fans.

Joe Burrow is a perfect example of why Ohio State has never turned out great or even good NFL QBs. He left because they wouldn’t play him, went to LSU and won a national championship. Name one OSU QB that’s been decent in the NFL. I totally agree Joe Burrow is the next Brady, barring injury. He plays confident and backs it up. He’s not about flash or marketing. He just wins.

I know even the 05-06 season Carson goes down against Pittsburgh. He was great at times. Then the Dalton era we had good Sundays but we melted under the lights. 1 and done.
I even let the doubt creep in going into the Baltimore game. Then we had the fumble in jungle! That's the stuff that always happened to us. Or we have a total melt down like against Pittsburgh with the Burfict giving AB CTE not to mention the fumble by Hill that lead to all the nonsense.

Can't get enough of Rich. Easily the classiest, most honest and logical talk show analyst imho. And one of the very few people in the media that have respected the Bengals from the very start (I'm talking 3 years ago during Burrow's rookie season).
As an LSU fan who followed Burrow from college. I am shocked that so many other people are shocked with this guy's ability & football IQ. This guy played his first year of NFL football his senior season at LSU. It isn't his ability to make great plays that makes him so god. It's his ability to avoid huge mistakes & bad plays. He believes in his teammates & makes everyone around him better. He has all the veteran traits of a Tom Brady, or Drew Brees combined with great play making ability.
Got to admit, it He's the "Elvis Presley" of the NFL, looks, talent and he's got em' all shook up!

After the 2019 season my jaw had dropped and the fact that he led the Tigers to be the greatest college football team in history, I was sure that ANY team that drafted him would have success LONG term. I have been a Saints fan all of my life. I had to change allegiance from the Saints to the Bengals when Joe was drafted by the Bengals, followed by Chase. WHO Dey!!

As an Ohio native living here in Southern California for 43 years, I've always supported my home state teams as my heritage is there. Dad from the north, mom from the south & me being born in Columbus. When the Browns left after 1995, the Bengals was the team I supported & lived through those years of embarrassment. I recall supported them in '82 & '89 Super Bowls. Here we are now! 🐯🐯🐅🐅

I'm usually watching the Aussie longing for spring and summer this time of year, long after my Bengals season is over. Still watch the Aussie, but the Bengals are front and center at the end of January, and I love it!
