My favorite animal is the cottontail. I have an aquamarine one called Skye that is so adorable. They should have called them Cabbits because they act like cats. I love watching them scamper around madly and chase their own tails. Too cute! I am trying to breed a pink Chickoo and having trouble so far. Although I have gotten my blue Mammoo. 😀

So, I had bred the spriggan about 8 times with a color charm, and it did NOT work. A friend told me what she did, and first try, BAM, colored spriggan! So for anyone else struggling, try this, it worked for me!
1. Buy a spriggan with 3 slots, give em love til fully filled in. Be sure the day you go to breed they are fed, pet, and full on fresh air. Take to breeder and get a charm pillow to breed with.
2. Once that one is all full (most likely 4 slots), do the same thing, breed with charm pillow.
3. Impatiently wait to get it, love it, get to max happiness.
4. Take your now 5 slots bugger to breeder with color charm, and hopefully ya get as lucky as I did.
I can't tell you if it worked on lower levels cause I was trying to charm my top level animals and the spriggan was the only one that gave me issues. Good luck, happy breeding!! 😊

Your videos on flower and animal breeding have been SO helpful. I’m in my flower process right now, and I’m gonna need one entire farm just to fit in all the flowers I want! I’m trying to keep 9 of each type cause getting the palettes takes 30 flowers. Will take me at least an entire game year doing mostly flower breeding. Gah.
One thing I’m curious about and I’d love your input as well as the rest of your community. Is anyone else just completely fed up with the whole tea thing? Just trying to get things done in this short day is bad enough. But now my character wants tea constantly. Hot tea, cold tea, always tea. I’m getting to the point where I’m so tired of that pathetic little face looking at me for tea I just ignore her until she almost collapses. I feel so mean! It’s incredibly annoying. If she’s hot a short swim will help for about one game hour. But then it’s back.

As for the tea, it was a bit annoying at first but as you progress and raise your stamina bar up with your cozy level, it doesn't make a huge impact not giving your character tea as it did in early game so I ignore the need too. lol

@@JadeMistGamingso I bred a chicken, sold one of my existing chickens so I could register the new one, the new one grew into a yellow chicken (as I used a yellow charm), then a few days later the yellow chicken disappeared and was no longer listed in my ledger. Instead the one I previously sold showed back up in my barn/ledger. This happened to me twice. Not sure what's going on 😞. Any ideas? Have other people seen this happen?
@@applbyte A lot of the animal breeding is currently bugged out sadly but the good news is that the devs are coming out with the 1.14 update that is going to fix all of it thankfully on Oct 17th (unless they are delayed) according to their discord. While my work around to get the animals to start breeding again works, it only temporary sadly so our best bet is to wait until the 17th for the update to get it all fixed. Then we can all finally get all the animals back in working order. :) Happy Farming!

Thank you for this. I thought I had to do animal care every day or every other day to keep them happy & it was making me not want to play the game.
Although I already went through the game, I still do wanna go back and just do some side things I ignored more in favor for progression or do another playthrough. Animal Products have been the bane of my cozy level bc the lack there of, this answers so many of those resource problems xD Much appreciated and awesome work :) Now if only I can find a way to get a steady source of frog sweat for potions D:
Edit: I hate that I buying and selling requires you to run the animals one by one....a bit tedious
You can sell all your animals directly from the barn registry. No need to go back and forth to the vendor. 😊
@@Just_Alice. that saves some time thanks, but still gotta take each animal to the barn 1 at a time when you buy them right? Does the breeding automatically put them in an empty spot in the applicable barn (parent and the offspring)?
@@Kodamare Yes, you still have to buy animals one by one and register them in the barn. Also, when an animal is born, the parent comes back on their own but you have to go take the baby back home. Then you register it as usual. If your barn is full, you can decide at that moment if you keep the baby or sell it, which I find great in case you didn't get the color you wanted. In some games if the barn is full you can no longer have a new one, but here we have the opportunity to wait for the result before deciding 😊
I’d love to have some kind fantasy pig animal! Oh! and pets would be awesome. Or have your farm animals give you bonuses when you are out and about.

84 colors wow I breed my chicken with the yellow charm and named her lemon but now I know about the bar thing I really got work to do. I don't think I'll try for a full barn but maybe 2 of each animal. You did great 👍❤

for me, to make sure I get offsprings, I don't skip day the night before andso far I got my offsprings!
I have noticed that when I do pet/brush my animals I get more resources. My woolies are the lowest levels and days I pet/brush I get 1-4 raw wool

Sadly no, not sure how to work around that. Do you have other animals in the coop? If you haven't reported it, I recommend going to the Fae Farm discord and add it to their bug reports.

I WANT the sheep to be my favorite but... it's the chicken. Brain refuses to change it's mind. It loves of fluffy and squishable they are and how they flutter in the air. Silly brain.

I'm hoping the first dlc adds a marine animal area to the pond in the snow farm area cause having water animals would be cool. Also I'm hoping for any kind of automation for crops and animals cause it's really time consuming to water all my crops and collect all the animals products.
Collecting the animal resources definitely can be time consuming and tedious. As for watering the crops, be sure to use your magic watering can to water bigger areas or you can even use the sad potion to have a rain cloud follow you to help you water bigger areas. :) Happy Farming!
@@JadeMistGaming Forgot there was a potion to help, I go through all my mana and like 2 Large mana potions just watering (or 3-4 medium or like 7-8 small)
@@lorddracon8992 Yea, it definitely guzzles alot of that mana. Do you have your house cozy level to it's max for all stats? If not, be sure to put in all the mana furniture to get max mana. :)
@@JadeMistGaming yep, all cozy furniture is down, I just have 14 3x3 plots on my main farm and 6 3x3 and 2 5x5 plots of crops on my fae acres farm, plus a huge flower area where I'm trying to breed the 72 flower variants. I just tried using the sadness potion and the small one only gets 2 of the 3x3 plots, unless the bigger ones move a lot faster it isn't worth it to me. I'll just buy a lot of small mana potions from the potion sellers
Companion animals for those that play solo without multiplayer would be epic
You can have your barn animals follow you around in any mode like little pets, solo or multiplayer. :) I like to have my Lunen follow me around from time to time. It's cute.
I have a question I have cozy lvl 9, and the day I get married my bars of health, energy and mana are now again on low bar, I still have cozy lvl 9 so how can it be that my bars are lower?, will my bars turn to normal again?
They shouldn't get lower unless you remove the furniture from your home or you change your main house to one of your other farms.
My animal breeding Job Quest is stuck at 17/20 even though i've bred atleast 3 dozen other colored animals. It's so annoying.

SOMEONE HELP MEEEEE 😢I have one wooly horn that I CANNOT register. I bred it, brought it home, and I'd sold one but it was still there. So now it's just... on my farm? I can harvest things from it, but I cannot register it, which means it can't follow me and I can't breed it. My barn also glitched and I have double of an animal (not really that mad bc I get double milk lol). What do I do so I can get the wooly horn registered?
Is there any way you can sell them and buy a new one? If not, I recommend reporting the bug to the developers on their discord.
I kept most of the default names of each baby animal I get and I swear one of the wool/ sheep I got was named Dr. Sleep.

If you are feeding them every day and they are not producing eggs, it could be a bug. I recommend selling them and re-registering new ones to see if it resets your coop. If not, you may have to wait until the new patch from the developers comes out with the fix to all the animal issues. Good luck!
on switch CoOp and our coop animals just stopped producing goods. we bred one and it started to produce so we bred another and then even the newest one stopped. this game is so glitchy on CoOp. anyone know a fix?
It's a known bug that the developers are getting fixed soon. The 1.14 update is coming out on 10/17 according to the devs that will fix all the animal issues. :)

Love to use your tipps, but pet breeding is still so buggy. Cannot sell any pet, they come back after restarting the game and the new pets disappear. Very frustrating and still no patch, probably i have finished the game before this is fixed.

If I delete all the food and animals and start my coops and barns over, how do I keep the glitch from happening again? Is there a trick for that?
Unfortunately there is no way to prevent it. The developers did post on their discord that they are working on getting it fixed hopefully in the upcoming patch. I have had to reset my bard about 3 times already which has been unfortunate.
@@JadeMistGaming Interesting. Your suggestion about making sure the troughs are empty makes me wonder if having food in a spot with a sold animal is part of the glitch in the first place. Maybe if I just never feed my animals and make them eat outside...

Can lunens and spriggans be different colors?
Yes, you can breed them into any of the colors from the charms. :)
I'm pretty sure all my lunens are broken and won't breed colors anymore (they still breed base color). I'm trying to do the final achievement for the breeder. (It's the last job achievement I have left.) I wish there was a better way to keep track of the colors you breed of what animal in game. They also don't explain how to get 20 total when there are 14 charms.... Somehow I made it to 16/20. I hate how this game doesn't explain anything... I think it's time to go back to Blue Oak. At least the people are interesting in that game. (They also broke my dates with their last patch... As in I am not getting any anymore. My mail stays empty.)
The new update should have already fixed the animal breeding issues. Have you updated your game yet? I just released a video talking all about it. :)

The charms won't always work. The charms only give a chance to change color. It may take several tries to get it to work. How many times have you tried?

Yes. There's a better chance you'll get the color animal you're trying to breed when they are happy. They only have a better chance of being a higher level using the pillow charm which is explained in the video. ;-) Happy Farming!

How do you unlock the barn?
You would need to go through the main story quest live with Eddy to unlock the 2nd farm that has the barn.

You can ring the bell outside your barn/coop to make them go outside. Depending on the weather, they should go automatically but if they don't, the bell should force them.

That's also a known bug the developers are working on. You could try resetting your barn by selling your animals and re-registering new ones.

I would like to see alpacas which give fleece, a penguin which gives eggs. Or a goat which gives goat milk, but I always wanted penguins.

Either that or a sparkling unicorn,
who the player can ride around the whole map, but in less time. Since they can fly.
That may be gifted by a elvin character after the story, and comes with Aspen building a horse shed, which will house 6 of the same types of animal,
but you can go to the gifted, and breed it the same way as other animals for an assortment to ride and love.
The shed would be in the mountains at frozen farm, although the elf is from elvin village, but. During the day, he or she is tending to their cold weather animals.
It may also tend to these other 2 animals too, but may share the job with an animal seller of them. Which may be from the mountains.
You get the flying animal after you have 6 livestock in all of the other 4 pens, barns, or coops.
I would like to build another coop at the homestead, another barn at the haven, and another pen at the fae farm. Each house could hold 6 of one kind on animal, if you wanted to have each coop that only has one thing like egg coop, Cotten coop, etc.
Another thing that I would like would be more charms, but the Never Fail Ones which requires different things.

3 diamonds, 30 stones, 1 silver Ingot, Ecto Dew to add fae magic
Brown
3 polished Topaz, and 3 copper ingots. Fae Dust to add fae magic

3 copper ingot 3 garnets, ecto dew and flame heart to add fae magic

3 iron ingots, 3 obsidian, 30 coals, blob globs and frost beets to add fae magic

3 polished topaz, 3 copper ingots, fae dust and flame heart to add fae magic

4 polished Saffire , 4 feyrite ingots, ecto dew and crystal peppers to add fae magic

Some could be a dark rainbow but a pastel rainbow would probably be best, but it really depends which part is which color.
