- An Indianapolis man has been arrested and charged with dealing drugs resulting in death after a fatal overdose on the northeast side. The victim died a from a drug overdose in July 2023 at the Chateau in the Woods Apartments near Binford and Kessler boulevard. The 22-year-old young mother, Shylis Garrett, was found dead on the floor by her boyfriend.
Why anyone would buy drugs off the streets is beyond me 🤔🙄

I’m so glad I stopped popping pills right before my son was born 10 years ago because I probably would’ve gotten a bad batch eventually and wouldn’t be here today. Thank the Lord I was doing anywhere between 20 and 30 Percocet a day and I knew I had to stop before my son was born so I went on to Suboxone and never look back and before that about 1520 years ago we will popping E pills at least 20 a weekend and I’m sure they would’ve been laced also by now man thank God I got out in time. And I hate to say it but these open borders are bringing in a lot of drugs. I don’t want to hear anyone complain about drugs, but then not complain about an open border shame on everyone.

@@abusednomoresilence yes, it is for sure getting off Suboxone is no joke and I wonder sometimes if I’m going to be on that forever but at least it’s controlled it’s from the pharmacy I don’t have to worry about getting a bad batch. What’s crazy is I don’t even think they advertise that as much as they should, because sometimes I speak to people and they have no clue about it and it could save someone’s life.
