- Most of us are familiar with the story of Romeo and Juliet. It is said to have happened in Verona - a city now known for this tragic love story. But have you ever looked beyond this tale? Because this enchanting city in northern Italy's Veneto region does actually have a lot more to offer, besides the tale of the blood feud between the Montagues and the Capulets.

I lived in the San Massimo neighbored of Verona for four years. I loved feeding the pigeons in the markets at Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. Strolling along the Adige. Trips to Lago di Garda. Restaurants in Bussolengo. Also loved taking train trips to Milan, Vicenza and Venice. Hope to visit again soon.
