  • In this video I talk about outsourcing content for a niche website, and seeing a return on your investment. I pulled some data from a very small sampling of articles from a specific keyword cluster on a specific site on mine.
The data and examples in this video are not typical, your results can and will vary.

That's insane, a $250 investment, earns you $400 per month. I can't think of any other investment where these types of returns are possible.
Also, if you consider a 35 times multiple, You're actually turning $250 into a $14,000 asset in only 12 months!

Yeah it's crazy when you look at it like that. Now of course I cherry picked 5 articles that were doing really well, but you can see how I zeroed in on them. Now my chances of repeating that success is so much higher. It's a great business model.

Great video as usual. Can you do a video sometime that compares keyword volume estimates from tools to what you are seeing in actual traffic? Would be great to see where articles were getting more and less traffic than keyword volume estimates. Thanks.

Is there any way we can see the kind of listicles you write to understand better and apply the same style to our niche site?
Thank you for your awesome videos

Thanks for vid. What's your theory on content that's mostly viewed on the weekend? I definitely have that going on. Cant figure out why

It’s going to be a case by case basis, it’s all about the search intent. You’ll really have to delve into how people are landing on a page and why.

Hey I was wondering, Is it better to have multiple sites or few? Most would say few. Now my question is,, if it is "FEW" then how come most bloggers make like 2-4 websites minimum? Why not pump out like 500 articles on 1 site? If I found a good niche should I focus on just htat one site and make it LIKE TOP or spread out to few sites? (Assuming my goal is money in the shortest amount of time possible).
Would 1 site with 500 articles always make more compared to 5 sites with 100 articles each? Assuming all keywords are alike ultra low competition, CPC and affiliate is the same.

Also assuming my goal is not to create a '"passive" hands-off business but something I have to work a ton on but, I am wanting it to pay the most possible I can get?

Unfortunately there is no yes/no or right/wrong answer to any of your questions, but I will say this:
If you are new and asking these questions, start with one site only. Do not try more than one. Build it to a full time income then consider another site. The reason some bloggers have multiple sites is because they have several sites that have reached that point. If the don’t, they should also be focusing on just one site.

@@NicheInformer Hey man, me and my friend plan on starting a niche site and he's willing to drop 10k on it. We are expecting it to make at least 2k per month after 2 years. What niche do you suggest we go in??

Mediavine is NET65. Example: you get paid on April 5 for January’s earnings.

Super interesting that you are earning so much from listicles. None of my top 20% of my posts are listicles. I do much better with "How do you XYZ" posts.
Also, another great tip comes at the @9:04 mark. Very surprising how much you're earning from these smaller posts. I try to keep my posts at 1500 words or more, and only 2 of your top 10 are above that length.
This is definitely making me rethink my approach. Do you include a lot of videos and images in these listicles that are doing so well for you?

    • @NicheInformer
      @NicheInformer  Před 2 lety

Many times the intent of the topic requires that each list item have some sort of visual, so there are typically lots of images. Not so much videos, but sometimes.
