- Beat the META returns! We are trying to win in every single Gr.3 and Gr.4 car when it isn't the strongest car! Rules are as follows;
- First race is starting with no qualification time.
- Victory must be with at least 1 A+ driver
- No LIMIT on Races

What is Beat the META?
META means the Best Strategy so in Racing generally it means picking the best car... Sometimes it's a combination of Best Car for the Best Strategy. In this series we take a car which isn't the best (Not in the top 10 of the leaderboards) and we take on the best cars in an attempt to BEAT the META!
The point of the series is to show you don't always have to pick what everyone else picks to have fun!

The NSX GT500 is one of my favourite gr.3 cars, it's not the fastest in acceleration, mid corner speed, or top speed, but its handling is right up my alley and it gives me so much confidence to push hard in a way that most gr.3 cars don't
Its also such an iconic car and having it in the game makes me very happy because of nostalgia reasons
Personally, it’s gotta be at least top-10 DLC car in any racing game I’ve played. It’s beautiful, it’s iconic, it sounds amazing, and it’s actually competitive (on certain tracks). PD really came through with this one.
I feel the same with the Renault
To be fair, you could beat a lot of players driving a shopping trolley with a dodgy wheel. You missed some of the carnage being up front in that third race 😅

Yay, another fantastic one done and dusted. Of the choices that haven't been attempted, the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car And Subaru BRZ GT300 feel like the most realistic choices for a win given the proper chance.
Screw it, I'll vote for the Subaru BRZ GT300. Surely, there's a track that'll come up and eventually be perfect for it.
This NSX you really wanna rev it out to like 8200RPM ish. 8300 is RPM cut. It's a pretty fun car to drive all around.
Ye I had a bad habit driving this where I would short shift it, not sure why I did that to be honest! I didn't short shift on the qualy runs
That guy Alex is a big dirt driver - played with him a few times and he always pushesh you or rams you to get his positions or at the end of the race is desperate to overtake people, i wish GT7 had a system to report drivers like him.
The track limits coming out turn 4 are ridiculous. I'm sure I've seen it used in real events but still... lol
I still have no clue what the actual track limits are. Pretty sure I’m still leaving half a tenth on the table
They are very extreme, most games allow it to and it definitely happens in real life 👀
What proximity radar do you prefer: GT7 or ACC? FM just got a radar that is pretty much identical to ACC and I love it so far. Racing is a lot cleaner when you can see how close cars are to you. Especially using a wheel in hood/bonnet cam.
Good question, ACCs is more in eye view so I do think I prefer that one to be honest. I actually prefer GT Sports to GT7s
This NSX seems like the Gr3 BRZ - it's really nice to drive, but not naturally fast.

WHEN IT COMES TO PSVR2 AND THE LIKES OF ACC, WHICH IS IT THAT STOPS IT BEING AVAILABLE ON PSVR2? IS IT SONY? THE ACTUAL GAME DEV'S? IF THE PSVR2 CAN HANDLE GT7 THEN IT COULD HANDLE PRETTY MUCH ANY SIM - SO WHATS STOPPING IT?
It has to be developed as gt7 uses eye monitoring to vary where the graphics are focused. I imagine it's not a small development for ACC
