Killing it with all the "what are we eating" episodes! This is what the people want and you're here to make that happen! Thank you :)
Speak the truth.
He does it for us, the people. 😆
Nice! You've been on a roll with videos lately. You really do care about Us, The People!
Or the wife has him on a diet. "But, honey, this is for the videos - it's work!"
@D C not doubt; just happy that we're getting multiple Wolfies in a week! For a couple of weeks there it got pretty sparse.
I have to ADMIT, I am really happy he made this video. I wouldn't want to be in a situation where I cut my own finger off.
Whenever I'm cooking something frozen, like a pot pie, or chicken strips, I start it off in the microwave. I heat until it gets warmed through, then into the hot oven until it browns up. Best of both worlds. 😊
I seriously have to stop watching these BEFORE I eat!! I just went to Walmart, bought 2 and ate them BOTH! You guys kill me!
It's taking a bunch of will power not to do the same, myself.
I found these for $.50 on clearance in walmart the other day. Bought 6 of them.
220% of your daily sodium.
I live in France and here you can't find any of those, but I enjoy watching it though.
@@Gertcincina In France I suspect the food is better than the US
I wonder if anybody has sued a company for false advertising on their food packages? They never look like they really are.
these companies have fucklot of money, and can afford about ten times as many lawyers as your average joe.
They put disclaimers on the boxes in small print saying the images have been enlarged to show texture to protect themselves from lawsuits
They can just say it's an idealised representation or put 'contents may differ from image on packaging' on the box and wash their hands of any legal wrongdoing.
I never expect the picture on the box to look like the food in the box that way I'm not disappointed
Damn you’re cranking videos out!
A grocery store was closing and marked down a bunch of those things for 70% off. I cleaned em out. These things are actually NICE. Maybe not NICE for you but for a frozen dealio they do taste excellent. Great little office lunch.
WOW Banquet actually did a good meal who knew it was possible.
I love your profile picture lol
Just when I needed it you come thru for me and "us" THE PEOPLE
i think the inner contents of this could be qualified as soup or stew.
It did look pretty liquidy (if that's a word).
It's like if chef boyardee was baked into a pie. Not the man but his food lol.
“Semi-meaty soup pie” would be the honest marketing version of this lol.
I am always amazed at people that just see a nice photo on the box and throw it in their cart.
But you sir are Smart and read labels.
Love your vids been watching since I was 14 FYI I’m now 19 😂😂
Daaayyyumm
Yeah same makes me wish my dollar tree had freezers
Wow... Well, that'll be healthier than what the average kid looks at on the Internet. Mostly ;-).
Waiting to see the series on cooking meals continue. Maybe that Southern Tuna With Creamed Corn Milk-Dipped Cracker Crust Pie?
God, that looks like heartburn in a box!
IKR?!
I like my deep dish like my steaks, "blood red." -Mrs. Wolfe Pit.
1000 calories!!! holy sneezus
I'm staring at these like a dog staring at a raw chicken on a table. Good lord.
Cooking Prep:
Mrs. Wolfe Pit: *smoothly scores with knife*
Me: *stabs furiously with fork, repeatedly*
mrs wolfpit is his daughter. not his wife. witch is fuked up.
i still think the merie calender's pot pies are the best ive ever tried
Those are really good.
Thank you for your sacrifice Mrs. Wolfe Pit
These things look like hot lava getting into your mouth after heating...i would guess they feel the same way when exiting your body the next day....
I agree with everything you said, I love your channel, my husband told me about it, I’ve still got a lot to watch on your channel
😂 The cut off finger cracked me up lol
Wolfs favorite CZcams Channel..
It's a deep dish
Imagine actually having a very deep dish like a pan inside the box instead of the pot pie.
They need to change the name to a deep dish pie instead.
Be okay for a dollar. Because I'm poor and don't really care what it looks like (within reason) if it's cheap enough. But if that cost a dollar and change... nope. I'll grab a bag of Andy Capp's Hot Fries, instead. Because that also fills a hole - and tastes good while doing it.
Thanks for the reviews, Mr. (and Mrs. "Helper") Wolfe! I've actually ended up purchasing a few products because of you. And, more importantly, knew to avoid purchasing some others. You should review a big bag of Totino's Supreme Pizza Rolls & half a jar of Hellman's REAL Mayonnaise (to dip them in, of course!). I already know what that tastes like - but you deserve a treat once in a while, lol.
Deep dish pizza crust in Chicago is like pie crust it'ss disgusting so this indeed is a deep dish
well if you wanna play that game you could say that it is a dish that so happens to be deep
I would rather eat crackers with ketchup and bits of lettuce than this
@@Thesecondcoming222 Where did you try it?
I'm baked with the buuuuuunchieeeez, and that sounds so good right now. Anyone else think this sounds good when you're on that flower of peace, love and floating down life's river?
Jackpot of meatballs.... that’s a win if I ever heard of one.
Never seen that before but it looks delicious will find out when I taste it
can't wait to try these, when I order a meatball marinara sub at Subway, I tell them to put other spicy salami which is essentially enlarged pepperoni along with bacon and provolone then toast. These deep dish pot pies are right up my alley.
You guys are really busy, keep it up! Much appreciated.
Larry, nice job, for the best, top of the line frozen meals i don't think anyone beats Stouffers or lean cuisine which is a lo-cal stouffers product , but is more costly. I think banquet has the best low cost frozen products, & better than swansons, etc... which is more costly. I can get the banquet salisbury steak, 6 in a pack for $ 3.99, make 3 hoagies, they are good nuked, not as good as your truck stopper though.
Pro tip: sugar doesn't neutralize the acidity, only adds sugar to help balance out the acidity which isn't the best thing to do with tomato sauce. Use a pinch of baking soda to actually neutralize some of the acid instead. This will bring out the natural sweetness of the tomato. Be careful though, don't overdo it. Neutralizing too much acid will kill the sauce very quickly. Just a tiny pinch will neutralize a lot of the acid. Use less than you think.
I never waste my time on microwaves when it comes to pot pies. Seems to just ruin IMHO.
Yeah, pot pies should only be made in the oven.
@@mkw3980
SBow311 posted this 1 day ago I haven't tried it yet.
Heat up in the microwave, and then finish in the air fryer. You're welcome.
@@NOMCCBAMA lol that actually sounds like something that could work!
That does look surprisingly good.
If you can find any El Monterey products, assuming they're up to the standards of their chicken and cheese taquitos, its good stuff
Yes. 👍
Everything Wolfe uploads I'm usually eating something 😂
I would make a homemade version of this, but sub cheese sauce for the marinara sauce and do a red-wine pie crust, and use mild pepperoni, no onions, etc.
Not available at GNC?? Hard to believe!
And folks say if you ever see a hotdog made at the processing plant, you'll never eat one, lol, they obviously have not seen this video, lol, i eat hotdogs or as we call them here in Kentucky " tube steaks" , but i'd eat one everyday over this mess. good work Larry
"if she did lose a finger, it'll be for you the people"
mrs.wolfpit:you're about to try hungry lawyers divorce papers in a minute
I'm gonna have to look for this item. Nutritionally it's not bad at all. The calorie to sodium multiplier is only 1.5, and the potassium content is good for meals like this.
"Lactic Acid Starter Culture".... mouthfull.
Ohnoes! You both became TVP tollerant.
I haven't even watched the whole video but... 960 CALORIES!!!! That's nuts! Better be good cuz I'd rather have a pizza! Thanks for trying these so that I don't have to!!!
@Harry Dresden I haven't had a store bought pot pie since I was a kid. That's my whole day's calorie allotment. I'll have to pass.
Watched this while pulling the pork for the show cooker tacos tonight.
Very happy I wasn't watching this because I'm about to eat those strange pot pies.
Certified Gold !!!!!!
It doesn't matter if you cook it hotter than they say. 165 is the magic number for killing salmonella, but not necessarily the best temp for the food. Most things are better cooked to a higher temp. For instance, baked chicken won't have a crisp, brown skin until it gets close to 200 deg. inside.
I'm a big fan of the Banquet sausage and gravy pot pies and I'm still a bit shocked that you havent posted a video on them or the egg and ham pot pie
Man that thing looks good.
These remind me of the Chicken Balti Pies that Morrisons (a UK supermarket) sold in their bakery section, I loved them things... :P
I haven't liked a single Banquet product that I've tried yet, but I have to admit that these look pretty tasty.
Whenever I go to Subway I always get the vegan subway because it's honestly a lot better than the original meatball marinara, it's a lot tastier to and it's more filling. Point is sometimes the vegetarian or tvp can be superior.
I work at subway.... wtf is a vegan subway? Veggie patty? Veggie delight?
@@sportsfanjw559 Vegan meatball marinara so vegan cheese vegan meatballs tomato sauce etc and for the sauce on top they have vegan garlic aleole I've had it since It came out it's delicious
@@darkfangnightcrow we must live in different regions. All subways are franchised with different owners. Ingredients. Sandwiches. Breads. Sauces. Etc. etc. Sounds like it might be a good one to try tho.
@@sportsfanjw559 it's a British idea I believe I'm in England
To be fair subways normal meat is usually of such poor quality and so full of preservitives that i think using old shoe leather would be an improvment id likely be less sick afterwards. Jimmy johns is much better all around imo.
I had Chicago deep dish twice and the crust was not a pizza crust it was a pie like crust so this indeed would be a deep dish hope it tastes better 😆
I was watching HellthyJunkFood from when they moved from NY to Fl. and you popped up in thier video. I told my husband that I followed your channel. He saw you and said to ask you if you know William H Blount.
Hey Mr Pit! In your reviews, do a side by side between what the food actually looks like and the picture on the package. That pot pie looked nothing like what's on the box.
No mo
Those surprisingly look pretty good maybe I'll pick one up never had much luck with banquet meals
Thank you!!
I think if you add some parmesan to it after cooking maybe it will add some 'bam!" just saying. Thanks for your work, mate!
Larry is da man!
The Salt would kill a horse....love ya videos.
Always enjoy your tests of these different foods, but I'd really like it if you tested some low-carbs meals like Nestle Life Cuisine low carb bowls. I've tried the spicy sausage and riced cauliflower bowl and it was good.
If you ever wanna do a video of high end oven and microwave meals try Rao’s frozen chicken parm and the meat lasagna. Whole Foods I where I buy them. They are straight gas 👌🏻
Even before I watch you review this. I've had this a few times, the pepperoni is almost not existent but it still tastes pretty good especially if you add a lil more cheese.
did you ever try a beyond burger or similar new "non meat patties"? they are fairly meat-like because of how they use the TSP
its highly processed food so "finaly" it gets to a point where the meat alternatives are eatable - both in taste and in texture
GOOD WORK!!!!! I might try these,if I catch them on sale.
Good another review. I need more ideas on what to buy. I'm not that asshole that keeps going out looking for the only place that's open so I can eat fast food. At least I wear a mask to a store and either have frozen foods or cook my own dinner.
You don't need the mask man. It's a scam and they don't do anything. Plus where I'm at pretty much everything is open now without restrictions except maybe shorter hours.
@@dontdiscriminatehateeveryo9263 No, you need a mask. They do something, just not for you. Every single person with a mask helps to keep you save. Atleast wear one in stores or closed spaces in general.
BTW - 165 degrees is the safe temp you can eat food without it being under cooked. 200 degrees should be ok as far as taste...
brother, we need another good night of drinking. love ya man
Seeing these videos you make me jealous i cant get em in the eu 😭
The first pie = You
The second pie = The guy she told you not to worry about.
You should review jamba juice frozen smoothies
This looks good I hope it's still around I want to try it I never had a pot pie with marijuana and meatballs
They used to be $1 a few years ago, got a few then and really enjoyed them. Are they $2.50 good? Not really. But don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it last time I got it. Big guilty pleasure.
Big up Wingsofbanquetmeals
marinara'd out. I pass up anything when I see the word marinara most of the time these days. But that pot pie did look good , just might try one if I spot one in the freezer aisle.
I really enjoy your videos. You should do a review on the banquet chicken and broccoli pot pies. I would really like to know what you think. I personally have been eating those for years, but I would like to know from you, Sir.
I've gained 40 pounds from watching these videos. I'm okay with that. Ima Panda
This is a food
awesome video!!!!!!
I’ve noticed that in many of the latest testings that have had TVP you have often, if not every time, been surprised at how good the “meat” has tasted. Do you think that there has been some sort of TVP improvement, are you tolerating it better, or has your mind altered by the unearthly powers of the TVP?
pizza pot pie!
I've been eating these for awhile now. I'd say 8/10.
You can just stick it in the appliance "as is" and then return after a minute (microwave oven) or a few minutes (traditional oven) and easily cut the slit - because the top will have thawed out by then. As far as that goes, the point is merely a vent to release steam, so you can skip the slit (no, that's NOT what she said ;) ) and poke it with a fork once or twice. Probably safer if your w-- er, if YOU are a klutz.
I used to tell cheesy pot pie puns for tips..
I really *kneeded the dough!*
Make sure it is completely thawed... then deep fry it in 375 degree oil for about 5-7 minutes = O...M...G... top with shredded Parmesan.
I just had a Boston Market country fried steak I don't think I'm gonna make it guys?
How was it?
Looks like Tomato Soup. Nothing like the Picture
Have you ever done a BBQ sauce comparison video?
i have the same spoon. (1st one)
Thanks for the video again 😁 For me, meatballs and marinara sauce doesn't work with a pie at all. Love the Wolfepit!
Hey Larry, do you enjoy Indian food? I’ve been eating the hell out of these frozen Indian dishes , especially chicken Tikka Masala. The best I’ve found is Deep Indian Kitchen brand. If you come across it, try it out.

John Spartan : Huxley, what's that supposed to mean?
Lenina Huxley : Do you see any cows around here,

John Spartan : Que es este carne?
Hamburger Stand Scrap : Este carne es de rata.
John Spartan : Rat? This is a rat burger? Not bad! Matter of fact this is the best burger I've had in years!
Hamburger Stand Scrap : Gracias, Senor.
John Spartan : Prego. See ya later.
Hey Wolfe, there's a typo in the title. Just thought I'd let you know lol
I live in Las Vegas: can't find these! What market did you buy these in, Mr. Wolfe?
Maybe Mrs Wolfpit cutting off her finger would have made the pies better 😂
The ones that Ive tried were just not filled with anything. Imagine yours here with like 50 percent less of everything inside. It was literally 3 inches from the top of my crust to the filling.
Cutting off a finger for my view is totally worth it...hell, I'll even give you a thumbs up! 😋
Can't find these anywhere. I looked everywhere for these, but all I could find are these inferior box dinners
They are made I a production plant in ::::::::::
