The sound of this instrument is one of the most beautiful I have heard in my life. I could listen to this every day! Thank you Mark White for your gift which you share for all of us.
I traveled to Prague in September 2015. He was playing this musical instrument that I've never seen befoere at Old Town Square. I was touched by this beautiful melody and decided to buy a CD. Til now when I play his CD, it reminds me of Prague, the romantic city. :)
yes indeed , romantic and historically important in every way . after it gained independence from the former ussr, many people went there to live in early 1990's . you could get a decent apartment for 30 bucks a month , everything was dirt cheap. Sadly since about late 1990's it is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in or visit .
Coins, change, are you kidding me. You are getting to hear GREAT music on a unique instrument. I would be throwing BILLS, PAPER MONEY in his case. Going to search i-tunes now and PAY Mark White for his wonderful gift of music.
Terri K I would definitely agree with you about the bills if this was the USA he was playing in, but he’s in Prague and coins can also be like “bills” or of more value than what your probably thinking. 🤗
At first I thought he needs to be louder, but I realize this volume is perfect for this setting. This is why we need our Street Musicians. Please continue to support good artists like this because this is work.
I could listen to this all day. The sound is so beautiful and soulful, even the "walk, don't run" is relaxing. First time I've ever heard the Chapman Stick. BRILLIANT!
