Thanks for posting this. I watched the movie last weekend and was surprised by how long it stayed in my consciousness. It has weight and impact and should be better known!
Who is Ben kidding? Marnie sucked. Dull and boring with no plot and 1 dimensional characters. Hitchcock's worst film. But, being TMC owns the rights to MGM films, what else can Ben say? He has to promote all the films they show, especially the ones they own.
A truly terrible film in every way. Corny, melodramatic, dumb characters doing stupid things, hammy acting, ridiculous storytelling, unrealistic lighting, bombastic and intrusive music. A real stinker.
Big fan of Marnie.
A wonderful and overlooked film!

A wonderful psychological thriller
Better than Suspicion 1941 in my opinion

I enjoyed Marnie but I still agree with everything you said lol. I think Cary Grant and Grace Kelly would’ve made this film far better
yes the film was good but not the masterpiece you keep bragging about
@@haintedhouse2990 who are you replying to?
my comment was to Irvogt. sarcasm. apparently Hitchcock's first choice was Grace Kelly but the Prince wouldn't let her.
Love Connery and Hedren in this film❤
