I bought both the Dollhouse and Surge palette. Honestly even with the set eyes, I think the looks were lovely. If I wanted to tone down my looks for work, I'll set my eyes and still slap these shadows on because they're still so insanely pigmented.
Thank you! Yes I agree an upside to setting the eyelid is that the shadows become less deep and that can indeed be a good thing!

Im sooo happy I found your channel omg😫 I dont quite have mono lids but my eyeshape is similar enough especially the inner corners of my eyes & the overall kind of ?flatness? (Idk how to explain it well) but either way its so hard to find people that wear eyeshadow that I like (indie brands & lots of color) in a way that can be applied to my eyeshape. So basically what Im trying to say is thank you for doing what you do and Im off to binge watch your videos lol 😅😁😁

Yes I totally get what you mean by the "flat"ness -- our eye just doesn't have much curvature. Which is why for example I only have two lash curlers that fit my eyes and everything else pinches. I actually love it. Feels like a big canvas for eyeshadow 💕
@@foxwaffles At first my eyes kinda annoyed me when trying out makeup but Iv learned how to work with them and its so much fun but since I dont really have a crease per say its been hard to find people on YT that use shadow the same way as me which I find really matters when trying to see if an eyeshadow palette would be of good use to me. Lash curlers in general are a pinching nightmare for me I bought like three until I kind of gave up and they just sit in a drawer unused for exactly that reason. Which ones would u recommend 🤔 because Im definitely hopefull to try again?
I'm still eyeballing their Surge palette. This looks like a really promising brand. I wanna try their brushes since they look smaller.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the brushes! I need to wash them lol. I'll feature them in my looks using Surge which I'm working on now

The deep looks are simply amazing. I'm sorry for the second row so clear, on me you can see nothing or almost nothing 😢
If it is similar to Glamlite I have to wonder if the shimmers are going to get oily later on. I'm glad I heard you mention the similarity, Glamlite's matte formula made my eyelids itch.
Could you explain more about the "oily?" 😳 I'll definitely keep track of my Glamlite palettes for that!
Do you prefer NYX Glitter glue or Pat's stick? Waiting on your Surge review to decide what palette to get. Thanks for all the helpful tips.
The NYX glitter glue definitely sticks to things way more but it's so sticky it sticks my monolid folds together so it's not comfortable for me. The PMG wand is not as sticky but it doesn't stick my eyelids together
So sorry I don't have Surge up yet I was hoping for next week we will see how responsible I am in the midst of Pokemon 😅
