Instead pH using the stay bottle get a 5 gal bucket with warm water dip ur paint roller 3 quarter nap an roll upwards with ur roller to wet it 10 times easier a lil more messier but put a drop cloth on the floor

it wasnt wall paper though. It was just the paper backing. Very misleading coz that's the easy part.

Use a roller to put on the solution...just seems like the spray bottle would get hard to squeeze after awhile.. Great video. Thank you.

I find that plain hot water and sometimes dishwashing soap work better than the chemicals they sell. Also Sometimes it’s cheaper and quicker to just remove and replace the Sheetrock.

Looks pretty slick. I have some steam equipment for removing graphics that I'm going to try on the wallpaper. I've heard it's the real deal. No chemicals, I just have to keep an eye on the condensation. Good or bad, I'll be uploading the video to my channel. Thanks for the upload.

Wondering if you know if this works for what I would call "foil" paper. I was informed by multiple painters that it often comes off in tiny little pieces and not whole ones?
It wont come off that easy unless there is paint behind the wallpaper
You could just use a sponge with plain water too right?
This video shows you the hard way to remove BACKING PAPER not the Wallpaper. If you can remove the top wallpaper, than just wipe the backing paper with a wet sponge with hot water, wait 10 minutes re-sponge and easily peel off the backing paper.

Monica Molina the wall isn’t in perfect condition but good enough to not have to paint it right away. As you can see it’s in pretty damn good shape, still haven’t repainted it yet. You’d have to look really close to know it needs paint perhaps.

why cant you just paint over the wallpaper? what would happen?
When you did this, did it remove all of the glue? In the middle , we have taken down the wall paper, and sanded the walls, while putting Kilz on, discover the glue was all underneath. Do you have any suggestions, tomorrow we will set the wall with Hot-water, vinegar and dawn , again and see if we can remove all of the hidden glue. Geeze
what about wallpaper that was put over bare sheetrock??? anybody can remove wallpaper that was installed on painted or primed surface.

Just use detergent, water, hot water after 5 minutes it's easy to remove.

You can just use hot water in a spray bottle and a simple scraper it does exactly the same thing and costs nothing.

Well, that doesn't help if you can't find Piranha at the hardware store, let alone a Lowes.

Those scrapers only work on flat walls. IE. Some geniuses decide the want a wall paper border on the top of the wall and they just paper over textured walls. Dont you know where to buy a 2 gallon pump sprayer? That thi g alone would have saved you at least 3 hours....
That way doesn't work when the wallpaper was glued on with super glue.

dude. That is the BACKING. Not the wallpaper.. That's the easy part. And I'm sorry but you made that harder. You don't need chemicals at all to remove that part. It just needs to be wet. AND you made that part harder. Use a fertilizer pump sprayer or a 9" roller just like you'd be using for painting.

@@BlakeDunkley No dude. Even the heading says remove WALLPAPER. And in the first minute you say wallpaper three more times. IDK after that. I couldn't watch it anymore. I'm not trying to be an asshole but this is very misleading for people that don't know any better and come here to learn. Fortunately I already know this and just ended here on accident when I saw a clip of you removing THE EASY TO REMOVE BACKING. And if that's what you are going to show, well, use regular tap water and a garden sprayer, roller, very wet rag or anything else that will saturate it, not a little squirty squirt squirt toy and unnecessary chemicals.

People seem to love it, so go do your own channel if you got it all figured out. Maybe you don’t know how to do a CZcams channel. I can make video on how to make/edit a video for you, and explain how to upload it if needed. Will that shut you up? Everyone’s recommended your recommendation far before you did.
