But it was still only a union where the only thing we shared with Lithuania was the ruler. Both nations combined in 1569, with Union of Lublin, creating the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. And the time Poland was wiped off the maps was exactly 123 years. There were a couple unsuccessful uprisings during that time, most famous being the November Uprising (1830-31, the only uprising that had very big chances to be successful) and January Uprising (1863-64). About Ukraine, it didn't formally exist, but Ukrainians believe to be the descendants of Cossacks, that occupied the territories of southern Poland in like 14th and 15th centuries. The Ukraine as an official country was created after the fall of the Soviet Union, though Ukrainians were there for a long time. (Also I don't want to bring up the Volhynia Massacres, but yeah, the Ukrainian Banderites and peasants murdered a lot of Poles in 1943-45...) *Hope I'm not wrong about the next two, correct me if necessary xD* Italy wasn't present for a long time, because it was the result of combining many Italian kingdoms together. There were 2 plans to do this, one was to only combine northern kingdoms and the 2nd one was to combine both northern and southern ones (plan made by general Garibaldi and it was successful). And that bagilion of small countries on German territory are basically seperate kingdoms being a part od Holy Roman Empire. Basically every city functioned as if it was a separate country. It's kinda similar these days, because even though Germany is one country, every od their Lands has their own rules (kinda like the states in the US).

People called all lands ruled by Polish King as The Crown of Poland, or simply The Crown. In 1795, the Crown ceased to exist after the third partition of Russia, Austria and Prussia. Formally, the Polish-Lithuanian Union has never been dissolved by both countries. In Lithuania, half of the population can speak Polish today.

Modern day Poland is very similar to its first borders 1000 years ago. They lost a bunch of land from Russia after World War 2, but got back land from Germany that used to be theirs anyway. So it’s not the worst outcome in the end for them.
If you wanna know more about Poles during WW2 watch "Hurricane (Squadron 303)" it's the story of a group of Poles who fought in the skies over England in WW2, I really recommend that movie!

I see two new countries maybe forming in the future. Catalonia in Spain could happen sometime soon. Kaliningrad may also become an independent country free from Russia. This would stop them from being isolated from the rest of Europe. I also heard that there’s a border dispute between Poland and Czechia in which Czechoslovakia at the time was given some Polish territory by the Soviet Union in which was supposed to be for a temporary time to make access in and out easier for them. This change happened a few years after the war, but the intention wasn’t supposed to be a permanent change to the boundaries. Anyway Czechs offered money to settle this issue, but Poland refuses that as compensation and would prefer the land back. The territory is a little bigger than the size of Central Park in New York. Such a transfer would add 1.42 square miles of territory to Poland.

I recently took the ancestry DNA test and found out that we Poles were decended from the Sarmatian knights and the Amazon women. I also heard that there’s a border dispute between Poland and Czechia in which Czechoslovakia at the time was given some Polish territory by the Soviet Union in which was supposed to be for a temporary time to make access in and out easier for them. This change happened a few years after the war, but the intention wasn’t supposed to be a permanent change to the boundaries. Anyway Czechs offered money to settle this issue, but Poland refuses that as compensation and would prefer the land back. The territory is a little bigger than the size of Central Park in New York. Such a transfer would add 1.42 square miles of territory to Poland.

I recently took the ancestry DNA test and found out that we Poles were decended from the Sarmatian knights and the Amazon women. We were the first horse people and the Roman's got tired of us raiding them and forced us to be thier calvary. They took the sons very young to serve the Roman's army and the daughters were forced to be the warriors and defenders of the tribe and didnt marry until the men eventually returned to the tribe. We served 3000 years the Roman's have busts of the Sarmatian faces and my family looks like them 5000 years later and I have an uncle that looks like a twin of one of them. If you look up the Sarmatian faces you would see your family 5000 years ago.

And the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth have the terrains of old Teutonics from 1525 to 1701 when the Kingdom of Prussia say "am independent u fuqqin bitcch".
